Shane Sanders quoth It's official: the letter G is over-rated.
Are you saying it no longer hits the spot?

I DON'T READ
what good would it do me if people had to go and read things every time i said something to know what i meant, or for me to have to go and seek out other people's opinions on what is in front of my face for me to know it??
it's almost as horrible as clutching a mouse
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

I used 2 be have the opinion that all trance was crap - that anyone could make a trance tune in 2 minues flat - using ejay or something similar. Then my little brother (who also introduced me to tool back in the day - god bless him) played me what he called 'real' trance, it was a revelation & i had to apologise & came to realise i was making an extremely ill-educated assumption based on listening to the lowest common denominator work in the trance field. I also disliked what i thought was 'techno' - based on listening to what some of the local skag-heads played - for the last 3 months or so almost all i listen to is techno, or more correctly minimal or dub-tech type stuff, I'm now getting a little more educated listening to, for want of a better label 'ambient' or 'ambinet-ish' music, much of which i used to believe was just aimless noodling - the 'random tweakings' referred to here. I still believe a lot of it was random tweakings by self-designated 'artistes' who had neither the technical know-how or creative skill to construct a melody. the point is (i suppose) that there is a huge amount of lowest-common-denominator music out there of many different genres - but if one looks hard enough, & listens with an objective, unprejudiced open mind there are definately pearls out there. I had almost given up completely on hip-hop - until some american dude on a forum explained to me that living in the u.k. i most likely didn't have ready access to some of the better stuff - he intriduced me to aesop rock - totally opened my eyes (& ears).
anyway probably rambling, but it is crimble time & i've had about six too many benedictines - so peace on earth, goodwill and all that shite, if i've caused offense - i apologise now - but it seems to me that it is far too easy too have ones comments & opinions misinterpreted on internet forums - due to the lack of visual cues, body language etc.

I like pizza also - but i've found far too much inferior pizza being peddled recently by wanna -be pizza makers who understand nothing of the traditons or techniques of true pizza making - give me an authentic thin based italian pizza anyday.
