So now that I finally upgraded to kontakt 7 I'm seeing much slower loading. Is it recommended to batch resave for faster loading like with previous versions?

I batch saved everything when I upgraded, had about a terabyte worth of stuff, took about an hour, had no issues since.

I have 2 computers, Win 11 and Win 10.
Native Access doesn’t work in neither of them.

I don't know if any of the rest of you got an email about participating in a feedback session with NI about Kontakt etc? I signed up for sure. Glad to see they're finally thinking about what the customers might want, hopefully it's not just a publicity stunt of sorts.

I always have to chuckle when I read this about the biggest audio software company...

Like... yeah... they surely know what the customers want, if they became that big.

If they know what YOU want specifically, is another question.

Yes, we are not customers.
E.g. I have Komplete ultimate since 2010, now collectors edition , 70+ third party Kontakt application etc.

Actually, this thing reminds me of a discussion in another forum I frequent. Someone posted that patience and reason are very rare goods these days. I could not agree more.

Keep in mind that their "surveys" are crafted multiple choice questions that generally confirm their bias of which path they've already determined for equal profit margins. All while giving us the illusion that we're part of that decision. Setting things up as a choice often denies its participants of suggestions and complaints they would really like to voice.

All they really need to do is read these threads on the various online forums.
A "survey" just frees them from directly addressing the chaos they created.

For such a major player in this industry they are idiots, what comes to one of the key areas of the busines: the customer care.
E.g. today, the first thing I did, I went to the NI site. No announcements of the reason why the NA doesn’t work.
Next I made a support request ticket in the NI site, not any mention of the maintenance etc. Nor in their automate ticket reply.

Only idiot shows the paying customer middle finger like the NI does.

Knowing what I know now, there is absolutely no way I would jump into the NI ecosystem again. This native access hell never ends, every update you need to search your password to log in again, then login fails or takes forever. Native access updates fail, the app doesn't want to start up, etc etc...As I'm typing this, NA is "loading" products, I think I will have to kill the app again. It is really unbelievable how bad this all is. So for those who are tempted, think before you buy!!!

Stopped working for me in November 2023 ... NI advice was to upgrade my computer. I bought Kontakt software in the BF sale that I now can't authorize.
