Tri-Stereo Chorus

I'm all for harvesting dead threads whenever relevant ... rather than starting another (*cough* reverb) thread. Just was curious about the inspiration. And I'm all for talking about choruses.
Looking back at my notes, UVI's Thorus can do up to 8 voices.
Is there something about the Dytronics that goes beyond three voices into the way they interact? There's not a lot of information out there I could find. Just the note above about left-center-right, and here's an archive for one of the (redirected to crypto adverts) links from earlier.
https://web.archive.org/web/20041210230 ... nt-01.html
Also I'm wondering what are some "canonical" songs that used the Dytronics Songbird where it changed the sound so distinctly that nothing else could have done instead? Could be that some of what I've thought all along was just a two voice chorus was actually a tri-chorus?

So it looks like the Tri-Chorus is only available in TH-U.
It ought to be included in GEM Modula.
I would buy it if it was.

Eventide have their Tricerachorus which "is inspired by the classic Tri-choruses and stompbox choruses of the 1970s and early 1980s."

Woops someone mentioned Tricerachorus already. Kuassa also have a chorus with a mode inspired by the tri-chorus: https://www.kuassa.com/products/efektor-ch3604-chorus/

The hardware Fulltone TERC is a modern boutique version of the Songbird/Dytronics/Dyno-My-Piano Tri-Stereo Chorus. The TERC is modeled in software by IK Multimedia and available in Amplitube's Fulltone expanasion. It sounds great and is truer to the original hardware than the Eventide Tricerachorus-though that is a great sounding and versatile chorus.
Michael Landau's music would be my suggestion for checking out the original.

Thanks for the Michael Landau tip. Following that strand, three songs featuring him using a Tri Stereo Chorus:
Got me wondering if a Songbird has been used on synths, and the name I've pulled up so far is Aphex Twin on the album Syro.
Also found this demo of the rack unit.
- Richard Marx "Endless Summer Nights"
- Bonnie Raitt "Nick of Time"
- Alanis Morissette "Forgiven"
