does this bring anything new at all? Seems like a nice interface mostly

Definitely. I thought I wasn't interested, as FF Timeless already had this covered, but the flexibility over the left/right and more explicit values makes it absolutely worth it.jens wrote: Tue Jan 23, 2024 7:06 am An absolute no-brainer at that crossgrade price (and relatively firmly in no-brainer territory even at the normal intro price)

The only thing I can't seem to figure out - perhaps not possible - is how to alter the mix independently for left/right channels. Everything about the interface is awesome, but I'm surprised I can't change the First Echo 'amount' independently.
Really loving the usability though - it's awesome.

Bought. Nothing new but the plugin is top class as everything made by Newfangled Audio. The interface is really cool and also the usability imho.

It's an amazing combination of features and it's deeper than it first appears.
The ability to apply the filter, compression and character to the dry signal is genius because it makes the sound more cohesive. That's often a thing with delays where the dry signal and the delay sound kind of unrelated. Being able to add the characteristics of the delay to the dry signal really helps.
The transient control at negative values with a long length acts as an attack envelope for the delay onset. Great for soundscapes etc.
If you have the transient turned up beyond 100% it just sends the transient of the signal to the delay and you can adjust the length so it acts like a decay envelope. Great for adding rhythm.
I love the Drive! It's like a real distortion where the signal response is dependent on the gain of the circuit. ie. The drive will still affect the signal when the amount is at zero. The "dirty" setting sounds gloriously disintegrated at 0. You have a "none" setting for the drive if you want to just use the noise.
The different modes are great. Really useful.
UI and UX are fantastic.
Top notch stuff.

I might have tried to resist - but they used the magic word ("polyrhythmic")

Your money must be spent. Click on that button. The one you know what it says. You know you want it.

Right, I had mine before I finished my previous post.planet_b wrote: Tue Jan 23, 2024 7:30 am I've got so much joy out of Elevate and Invigorate, that I couldn't have clicked on "crossgrade" button faster even if my life depended on it.

relayer couldn't be more different though. they sound totally different and have different feature sets.koalaboy wrote: Tue Jan 23, 2024 4:29 pm I would say that UVI Relayer is still far more capable... but more expensive at the moment.
Recirculate does some cool stuff. the "clear" button which kills the buffer is automatable, the DRYFX control allows engaging compression/filter/character w/o engaging the delay if wanted, it has a granular mode, pitch mode (can do some wacky interesting things to pitch drop a short delay on a shorter sounds as well as slower longer pitch manipulation depending on settings), has 'standard' and 'pingpong' modes. the 'grid' in it has some tricks and allows for shifting delays in different ways.
i like UVI relayer but it's something altogether different. a multi effect focused on gating and modulation step sequencer. Recirculate has a very different mojo going on and works in a different way and has a different focus. it has a lot of character.
that being said i own both.. delays, they're a drug. recirculate is excellent and has vibe.
