Absolutely. Recirculate packs a lot into a really great interface. You can never hold off on having too many delays :hihi:

Some Boss pedals do slow attack delays. It’s a great alternative to using reverb, extends the sound without adding air. Perfect for distorted sounds.

CPU for a delay is much higher than others I have by a noticeable amount (almost 2x). Sounds good and has interesting features, but I'm not sure it's worth the CPU to get in addition to my capable stable of delays I've kept installed: Valhalla Delay, Replika XT, Repeater, Tekturon, and Echoleffe.

Post

I'l pass exactly because cpu eating (i think i7-8700 still relevant to compare).
17% for delay it's no go.
If in theory, interesting delay, but could be more intersting with modulation ability.

There is modulation.

Emm, yes actually (found), but just for one algo (pitch warp), and i rather meant normally controllable feature (with lfo waveform etc). And btw it could be more interesting for non-pitching algos (just imo though).

Newfangled is one of those rare companies (sub-company?) that are on my auto-buy list.

Since I have and use Valhalla Delay, I was never really tempted a lot to buy another reverb, because it's very good, versatile and cpu friendly.
The Newfangled Audio delay, I always forget their plugin names after 20 seconds, might be good, but their plugins usually are pretty high on cpu and I dislike the guis.
Do gui and plugin name affect a buying decision? Maybe.

It's a great plugin but as expected again high on cpu, so usage and fun factor is limited

I agree

The crossgrade price was very good so I picked it up. Admittedly I'm a little confused why you'd add morphing filters to the filter section if there's no way to actually morph them. I wonder if they initially meant to include modulators and later scrapped it in favor for cleanliness/simplicity of the UI.

Just one more reason for me to look forward to the Ableton Live 12 release. I avoid using Live's built-in modulators because I hate how they take full control of the parameter. Practically anachronistic at this point. Thank god Bitwig came along to pressure them into improving things. I think modulating stuff in Recirculate will be fun when I can do it without losing the ability to tweak the parameter.

Wow,
this a serious saturator (beside the other cool features)!
Great piece - didn´t expected that. 8)

Just make the DRYFX 100%, pull the WET down and make use of the CHARACTER and the FILTER.

That's really awesome! I was thinking what's the purpose of DRYFX, it exists so we can have serious saturation. :D Now hoping an update would bring clipper too.

Invigorate was also really CPU hungry at the launch version, but it was much more optimized later on.

It doesn't really work for the chorus though - does it?
Or am I missing something?
(not really a big deal, as you'd just use an actual chorus plugin anyway)
btw - the chorus works great on the delays ;)

The dryfx are the compressor, character and filter.

Chorus is effectively modulated delay so just use the pitchmod algo with a shortish delay time and you have a chorus too!

For Chorus and Reverb:
Pull down the DRY fader, WET to max, select the STANDARD algo and there you go :)
The DYNAMICS (TRANSIENT, COMPRESS, DUCKING) section works too.
Killerthing this is

Edit:
Okay... first echo needs to be slightly off for the SOUNDSTAGE section then.
Edit2:
