based on cube breath at http://www.atomictraveller.com if you missed it

1. would you conceive of yourself using cube breath's voice processing function spontaneously? to eg. wake your roommate and tell then they still haven't done the dishes on their turn? yea, nay, mebbe a similar app that was better in some way, different genre, too silly/pointless..

2. have you left cube breath on for any amount of time for listening for recreation, edification, curiosity.. ..if so, do you think you'll ever use it again?

3. would you listen to an automatic/algorithmic music generating app of eg. another genre, greater refinement or range, that didn't suck so much? interested, some interest.. what sort of engines would interest you? singing, not, specific electronic genre, emulated organic genre, randomised scales and time signatures

4. do you think you will ever consider an algorithmic music generator app to have any interest/use, or is the form inferior to recorded music? would te "human" interest level be lost in the process of structuring algorithms instead of directly creating phrases?

5. i'll be releasing cube breath w/ a voice synth slapped on that spews random 'lyrics' in a minute.. intelligibity is sorta 1/2way here/there, ~ same as track 'honey..' will you try it? interesting idea but don't like yer voice synth, music engine not appealing..

6. it killed my system and after i clicked the .exe icon i swear i didn't try to do anythnig like open a folder in the next 10 seconds and still nothing happened/kaput

7. concept totally puts me off, would put hands over ears

8. wtf? please expand your webpage's description/app info!

im in the "found it very interesting,will probably use it and render down samples at least for sequencing in other realms.
even random stuff can be used non randomly i guess

keep it coming,yes i will in 1 1/2 hours be using it to wake my wife for csi

what's the deal? afaik, i've spat out the world's first rt 'structured music' engine and i get comments from like 6 people. is it just too corny/primitive, or are people afraid of inflating my gigantic head? didn't anyone get their kids to belt out a number?

i was expecting some jokes/demos, people.. so where is this expectation falling short?? :p no one wants rt music generators??

haven't tried singing into it yet, but I'm perplexed already. robots will soon take over the world.

BTW, why the name "Cube Breath"? It does sound catchy.

why don't you make it so it will host Delay Lama and control it? That would be funny.

but didn't arguru made a rt techno-maker a couple of years ago - I think it used fmod library and forgot the name.

Mindboggling plugin xoxos - amazingly reminiscent of Korean pop. The way it apes popular song structures and production effects is truly uncanny

it's from an old track.. i was stuck on the name for months and it popped into my head during the last 20 seconds of assemblage that that was definately the thing to call it.. but i'm not sure i can explain what it means w/o getting into a fight

seriosuly cool plug xoxos,yeah a few minor tweaks but you should charge even if by chargeing it means you push all the cash straight into some charity or other.

well the autotune can be a bit erratic,i my slef dont mind this but some people may prefer a more under control kind of thing.
i know that isnt the nature of the beast but i see great potential in this feller xoxos.but to be honest your the genius here,so i will just say see what you feel

in breath cube (synth voice) i increased the % for notes to be in-chord and biased the prob range for the rate of pitch change to be slower more often.. and greater % for shorter melodic phrases.. patterns coming out of it are a bit less 'erratic'/more easily identifiable than cube breath.

the process here was sorta applying the most effectively dynamic, simplest implementations i could for everything.. so i accept it on that level and can only guess if the commonality of most parts only having decay/release egs is more obnoxious than only having 1 measure long bass patterns, et c. so thanks.. the vocal sequencing was probably the least developed aspect.
