Intro price is $21/£16 ...

I already have a few JMG plugins and this one looks pretty interesting too.
I'm gonna get the 15 day unlimited demo :)

It's... an effect, right?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Right :tu:

Why post in the Instruments section then?

Post

this sounds great, but it really REALLY needs a mix control.
Some heavy kicks to be had, but i feel most of the time it just needs to be wound back a bit.

Post

You can send it to a return track (or similar). It's not too difficult.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

you could also learn to play piano with your feet. Won't take that long.

Apparently the mix control was removed because it introduced phase issues, see here https://gearspace.com/board/new-product ... olkit.html

It's an instrument effect :hihi:

Seems like an interesting tool though and for €19 is well worth it for tone shaping all the kick samples I have

A mistake ... thought it was an instrument before loading the demo.

registering and updating to v1.1...
now audio does not pass through the plugin. macos sonoma, live 11, cubase 12, vst2, vst3

Post

ok found the issue, back on v1.1 now, the TRIM knob is now useless. Any setting other than 0 yields no audio.
Now the click of the attack is so random it renders the plugin unusable.
rolled back to v1.0 (took a few uninstalls and re-installs) now problem is gone.

Post

The thread on gearspace has more information about this. The detector for the TRIM function seems to have a fixed threshold around 0dfbs. If you gainstage to lower levels it will not detect transients correctly

Post

that's a bit silly
i'll stay on v1.0 until it gets sorted out.

can some mod move this to Effects please?
thank you
