That sounds like 21 century . I hope that we are not dissapointed by the lack of modulatable/automatable parameters . we need it for evolving texture impovisation in our DAW's . and hope that may be in Zebra when it comes out we can automate wave points like it is possible in only one Synth i'm aware of is capable of Cable Guys Curve that would be true 21 century Synth . looking forward to Zebraleete and may be even hold of playing it till Zebra 3 finaly comes to life

And the sound is effortlessly gorgeous!Yorrrrrr wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 3:25 pm Looking good! It's crazy the amount of detail and complexity in the oscillators.

No, you cannot automate wave points. Once you are using Zebralette 3 you will understand why that's not feasible.Bako wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 4:16 pm and hope that may be in Zebra when it comes out we can automate wave points like it is possible in only one Synth i'm aware of is capable of Cable Guys Curve that would be true 21 century Synth .
However, you can create multiple splines and morph between them which is how you will move points over time. This includes the MSEG. In the editor you can precisely control how one spline morphs into another and there are also ease-in/out parameters to control the flow from one waveform to another.

around 22:38 when he said let's find something interesting:
Oh here's something ... (sound comes out) "This does something whatever it does..."
I will never forget this - what a classy nonchalant humor - loved it.
Amazing presentation and looking forward...

Intrigued by the custom modifying and waveform morphing Urs demonstrated in the video, I wondered about the CPU's processing capacity before reaching its limits. Any insight into it Urs? Can a single oscillator fully utilize a modern CPU's processing power, and how will performance scales with three or more oscillators in Zebra? Or will the inherent nature of vectors eventually render CPU consumption obsolete?

I have a dell latitude I7 from 2016 and zebralette 3 can bring it on it's knees , but urs said there is certainly room for cpu improvement .

I feel like it's been covered, but will z3 be able to load z2 patches ?
Just watched that video... I'm very excited to fiddle with the new version of any of this stuff.

I was told, "No" further up in the thread.Ah_Dziz wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:27 pm I feel like it's been covered, but will z3 be able to load z2 patches ?

+1, sounds like the Sound of the new century.
Well, the "approach to sound" in the new century.
Amazing work
a Q or suggestion:
seeing, you can quasi Highpass filter on VCO level,
does it also allow for a gain compensation ?
is there a parameter that could be manually jammed at the same time to bring the gain back up -> in parallel ?
if not: feature request
Now this would be fun

Even if there ends up being some sort of patch converter, for sure they will not sound the same.audiojunkie wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 11:19 pmI was told, "No" further up in the thread.Ah_Dziz wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:27 pm I feel like it's been covered, but will z3 be able to load z2 patches ?

This is very interesting. I use Zebra from the beginning and often come back to Zebra 2 when making sound design for my live use and recordings.
I think I'll be busy for some time when Zebralette and later Zebra 3 arrive.
