Hi all,
I am plugin addicted and frequently buying new stuff, just because I like the GUI, the handling and for sure the output quality of the plugin/VST.
I think it might be interesting to see what people are buying nowadays. So, feel free to join the club. What did you buy and what is next?

Having a large collection of plugins can be a valuable resource for creating a wide range of sounds.
However, I consider everything above 50 as hoarding. You are buying plugins without a clear need or purpose. 600 is just an insane number..
Just use a core set of plugins that cover the essential tasks for your music production needs.
Once you have a solid base, you can then add more specialized plugins as needed.
Don't buy a plugin just because it looks cool or has a lot of features.
Take advantage of demo periods to try out new plugins before committing to buying them. This will help you avoid impulse purchases.
Oh and, unsubscribe from plugin mailing lists and avoid browsing plugin websites excessively

Looking at my list, I have 118 effects plugins -- not counting synths -- categorized in my Bitwig collections. (This does include some of Bitwig's own devices, and a few duplicates where I categorized something as both "delay" and "reverb" for example. But it's close, and it doesn't count other plugins I've bought that are no longer installed or not listed in my categories because I use them too rarely.)
That represents 21 years now of using plugins...

I bought Midnite by Karanyi Sounds last weekend as I have been waiting for a good deal and was surprised in a good way at how the dev has used guitar and synth to give me new sonic ammo. I like Karanyi stuff.
I would like to get more Cherry Audio synths soon perhaps the GX 80 as I do like Bladerunnery sounds. The PS 3300 looks awesome and interesting in the context of the real Korg 3300 being hot in the news.

I do not buy music software. The most I ever use now is Surge XT. Nothing is next because my entire music workflow is being transitioned to hardware, not software.
