Nice one!

As it opens up to other DAWs I’m going to be interested. I like the size over things like Console1. I still haven’t found my perfect environment for mixing… the original idea was it was supposed to be Logic, but I want simple, so with some heavy tweaks that could be Reaper, or maybe LUNA.

Otherwise congrats on the release. It looks very well thought out.
Thanks! I think the CS12 will end up as our most popular product. I'm currently testing an early build of the Reaper integration but I think we're planning for Cubase to be the next DAW which we support. Studio One, Bitwig and Live are also high priorities. Lots of work to be done!

LUNA and DAWs which rely on MCU or HUI are unlikely to happen in the near term. Using MCU, we won't be able to implement half of the CS12's features and any plug-in control would need to be done through Nektarine. Still we're trying to keep an open mind, with an aim to solve problems, so it's not completely out of the question.

Increasingly DAWs provide everything we need in script based control surface APIs and there are MIDI 2.0 features which will make what we do a lot easier. Lots of cool developments in the works. :tu:

They don't seem to be worth very much, so we'll see.
I threw out a bunch of tapco stuff when i moved recently. Couldnt give it away sadly.
Rack Eqs, comps etc. No reverb tho.

I'm not surprised. Weirdly, I don't even remember where these came from. I think that they were given to me. I think that because I've never been a real spring reverb fan and I doubt that I would have paid anything for these, I would have just passed. I think that they came from a bin of free stuff at a hamfest that also included a broadcast rack mounted speaker/amplifier that at one point sold for a stupid amount of money.

Hamfests are a dangerous place if you have the hoarder gene.

People say that they're noisy, I haven't used them recently enough to remember. I'll give them a go and see what I think. I have an old Digitech rack mount reverb, sadly, I only have one, two of them would be a good mate for these.

That’s good to know… I haven’t dug deep into LUNA. I tried mixing in LUNA for a Jamuary and had some gain staging issues that I felt were easier to table for another day.

Cubase does make sense considering the amount of mixing engineers using it, and I still have, but I don’t like some features and thought Reaper might be easiest for customizing to work the way I’d expect. That one I’m familiar with from editing audio in post (long ago).

If it comes to Live that would be amazing!

Wasn't going to get the 25th anniversary edition, but then I remembered I made my first demo in '98.

Just 200 new ones left!

Nice addition. The collector in me has resisted, but I’m sure these will be highly sought after for years to come.

I wish I could trade my Digitone for a silver one!

This isn’t out yet but I really like some of its features, especially the way it integrates triplets no neatly

Yeah, that ^^^ is really fascinating! I love the way this is visually laid out. Which (for me) is just brilliant. Super intuitive, with clear delineation of tracks/channels with the knob/switch offset, yet maintaining visual continuity across the panel with the gray bordered 'last step selector switch', affording lots of finger room. Really appealing. Though at $790, I'd be really hard pressed to justify it personally. It's like the rhythmic equivalent of a 'KLEE' investment.

But then ... Yes! 8)

But then ... $1400 for my preferences/perceived needs.

Still... Realistically, I've spent just shy of that much on the very eclectic 'variety' of sequencers I currently have, though only one is specifically rhythm centric, and there are several others I have on my radar. Not even counting the trigger/gate manipulating modules, which easily doubles that figure. Baring in mind that's over a decade+ time period, not in one pop, which is my only real issue/obstacle. That said. I suspect that if/when I obtain the expendable resources, I'll be all over this. Amazingly well thought out approach to percussive bliss.

Love the simplicity of it!

Can’t justify it this year, so I hope they’re successful enough to keep it going.

I love that it doesn’t seem menu-divey at all.

Just got this - nice!
