have you switched off the internal sequencer in order to trigger the module with the midi file?

Post

It works that way for me. What daw?
I am in cubendo. Oh right u then have to turn off the int sequencer. Gui half closes then hit play.
If u leave it open that is int seq on, it triggers sequences unlessnu disable host something or other. Just turn off int sequencer.

Thanks for the help guys, I finally found where to turn off the sequencer correctly. I was doing it wrong and using "Host Note" to disable it which didn't work. It's working great now.

Aahh. Glad u got it working.

Thanks for going through the trouble of making that screen shot. That is how I'm dragging the midi to my DAW. But when I play back the midi it sounds nothing like the pattern, it is just random drum hits. Other drum plugins let you drag the midi to the DAW and when you play it back it plays the actual drum pattern in the plugin's sequencer. Does it work that way for you? Maybe there is another setting that needs to be set in order to play it back correctly that I'm missing? It's not really explained well in the manual. Thanks.
You need to go in to the midi section and set the keys/notes to match your DAW's drum rack. For some reason the default has multiples of the drums across a couple of octaves so I just changed it to the 11 semitones starting at C1.

Edit: I see it has been answered already. Ignore me :)

Thanks, that's actually good to know also I wasn't aware of the default midi layout of the drums. I'll probably change the layout also now that I know that.

can also set the default output routing which is handy too

Hi. I know it is a synth, not a sampler. But I noticed that every clap hit is so different from each other. I mean it is veery noticeable difference, especially when with shorter to mid decay. Instability is in the attack stage, where the rapid repetitions live. Would be nice to have some waveform "reset" function.

Yeah, that's how it's supposed to sound, just like on the hardware (both 909 and 808).
The loudness war is over, loudness has won

Anyone have a resource that better explains and shows the midi mapping feature? Was trying to connect it to my drum machine and it didn’t work out.

Nithonat teasers are out, looks good!
Only have Nepheton at the moment, I wonder if they would offer a crossgrade for the classic boxes collection?

Coming out tomorrow of course, TR606 emulations must be released on 6.06.. Those are the rules, I don't make them :)
