Hey, my sincere apologies to all fair people here intersted in RawPrime (for leaving the discussion). Nothing against you !
Yes indeed, the product is already released with an introductory offer, here's the product page :
https://www.xhun-audio.com/site/xhun.php?page=rawprime
I have full respect for all fair people here, and it would be a pleasure to continue a talk with them. Unfortunately, if I leaved this thread is just because it is evident there's something really *wrong* and *insane* with this kind of "public discussions". Even with 10's of fair users, a buch of 2 or 3 angry "average joe" psycho-morons have the power to completely destroy a fair discussion. Other developers/ Companies too have undergone this kind of treatment in the past. This is completely out of mind and completely unacceptable.
I opened this thread with the will to describe in detail one of my products and answer the eventual questions about the technology involved and FOR NO REASON (or better, for psycho-reasons) I have been violently attacked for days and days *also with threats on a personal level* on multiple channels with a series of crazy, childish bullshits that the worst idiot in the world would be ashamed to even repeat. KVRAudio moderators did their best to stop that, but clearly that's not enough to stop haters.
I always avoided this kind of *trash* contexts and certainly I'll continue to do that. For any questions, all fair users / KVRians could contact me privately and I'll be very happy to reply and help. Thank you for the nice comments sent to me as PM and by email.

I tried the demo this morning. While it is really cool for something that could theoretically exist in the 1980s, it's not too impressive or unique soundwise. I can do those kinds of sounds in Warlock, Nemesis, Icarus, Opsix, and Bitwig's Grid.

I have the demo but do the presets work? It seems to stay on the default preset and takes a long time to tweak.

Hello emef, I strongly suggest to read the installation manual, everything is finely explained there (also where to copy the library presets files in order to properly load them from the GUI).

Again and again, thank you to the KVRAudio moderators for re-re-intervening so quickly and re-re-cleaning up this thread's latest annoying posts.
Unfortunately I'm not good in spotting traps (= messages expressly posted just to engage a fight).
That shabby garbage users (banned by KVR moderators) are now stalking on other websites / forums and also on various warez sites (they subscribed years ago) invoking to boycott my products - ahah, using the same pseudonyms as on KVR... That kind of poor haters deserve nothing else than to be ignored, like the rest of the Universe already did.

Then, what's the problem - turn on your tv : aren't we in 1984, after all ?Korg Supporter wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:32 pm I tried the demo this morning. Yes, you can reach different kind of sound flavors. After all, with a Minimoog you can get "similar" results as with a Prophet 5. But they're not *the same*.
RawPrime aims not to replace any FM synth or other synth from your arsenal - it is an original, complementary synthesis system which sound design requires a completely different approach. You can also replicate Moog-ish bass lines or similar :

Thanks for letting me know. I know it's supposed to be an imaginary vintage synth, but I always think about whether I need an instrument or if it's sonic territory is unique.xhunaudio wrote: Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:05 amThen, what's the problem - turn on your tv : aren't we in 1984, after all ?Korg Supporter wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:32 pm I tried the demo this morning. Sure - obviously at first one has to evaluate if that specific synth/instrument is what he/she's looking for.
After that evaluation, a purchase is welcome if with the aim to enjoy that synthesis system and to get inspired by it through the years.

Have to say I like it a lot.
I think it sounds really unique.
It's got a "grainy" thing going.
Not grainy as in granular synthesis but more like it's got a certain roughness to the sound.
Lovely overtones.

Hi!
I'd like to say that RawPrime is amazing. Unfortunately it has the same preset-selecting-issue like LittleOne.
From Xhun-support-page:
"VST3 plugin : Clicking on the "Previous" and "Next" preset arrows/buttons (GUI elements) may advance 2 presets at time instead of one. "
Is there any chance that this can be fixed? I would really appreciate it because I love LittleOne, have all the expansions and RawPrime is great too.
Thank you

Hey, thank you to all people appreciating RawPrime.
The presets jump is due to the way different DAWs interact with the VST3 standard. As a reference I always take Hermann Seib wrappers and with them RawPrime (and all other xa softwares) behaviour is correct (no presets jumps).
Also if the few shabby comments and users have been deleted and banned by the good KVRAudio Staff, sadly this thread is now abandoned. Anyway - for support - just email me privately.
