A few months ago I did not expect it anymore and gave up on waiting and purchased Tal-Drum which is also really nice.
But I immediately missed the concised workflow of audio mangling options of Triaz.

The simple fact that there is already an envelope setup for pitch and filter seems to be a minor detail but it makes all the difference for a fast and creative workflow.

Thanks guys for pushing through!!

Small request.

Please let us navigate the sample browser with the cursor keys.

UP & DOWN = Browsing
LEFT = Parent folder and
RIGHT = Select/activate sample

A hot swapping sample function using the current sample setting would also be greatly appreciated.
It's took quite a lot longer than we first envisioned, we admit. But we managed to add some great new features that take this far beyond the previous version - hence the delay.

You can certainly browse both the sound browser and preset browser using your keyboard arrows, and additionally we have both a switchable preview and load mode for loading them (for previewing or immediately loading), and you can also import entire 3rd party sample packs / user sample packs and the plugin will tag them based on your sample pack folder names / file names. As well as import you can of course drag and drop samples to any layer, mixer channel etc (or use a file browser menu) and also then randomize through your own folders.

Haha :D

It's fully ready and installers are built and ready to go. We are literally just now polishing up the web page, finishing off the marketing content and finalizing the script to place this into all Kontakt Triaz owners accounts :tu:

Super excited here! Also looking forward of possible integrating your other sound banks into it and having a portable workflow across computers (eg reloading projects on other computers, this what I especially love about your products, as they are a contained eco system with samples) .

Since we have a method for importing entire sample packs and auto categorization, you can technically import any of our sample packs already into Triaz and they will show up in the browser, with drum names and tags.

However we plan to still create specific Triaz expansion versions of some of our popular sample packs, potentially with presets etc.

And as you may guess, having this functionality means we can release new expansions for Triaz (with new sounds and presets) whenever we like, and we are already working on several large ones.

With all the new sounds we've added to Triaz (5,000 new ones, 15,000 in total), alongside the fact you can now sequence parameters (even the layer XY pad), it is now very capable even for epic cinematic drums :D

So, er, for those of us who already own Triaz, erm...
It's totally free for all Triaz Kontakt owners :tu: We mentioned this somewhere on the forum and we will keep our word on this.

Triaz Native is far more than native plugin port of the Kontakt version. It has the same layout in many areas and will feel very at home to use, but it is a significant improvement with many man y improvements and new features :)
God bless you

No MIDI out in V1, by choice. We couldn’t find a strong enough use case for this for V1 that warrants it to be totally honest, other than driving hardware (which most users won’t be doing). Triaz in its native form is more capable and fast for sound design. FX, layering and kit building than any other software drum machine in our opinion, hence why we didn’t see that as important for V1.

I would personally use it sometimes for driving some hardware and would like it for that reason, but I represent a very small fraction of users who will be using this.

You can export MIDI and Audio (stems and full mixes for both), and additionally exported MIDI will keep all the MIDI info for parameter sequencing, pitch, timing, etc etc.

Hi Dan,

TRIAZ native is fantastic, thanks for the hard work!

Regarding MIDI out - my primary use case for this would be to use the fantastic TRIAZ sequencer drive other drum/percussion programs that are multitsampled and housed within their own plug-in, particularly Kontakt-based such as Damage 2, Electro-Acoustic, AC-DR, etc.

Please consider for the future, would be great. TRIAZ has what I consider the top ITB drum sequencer.

Thanks again!

Bummer.. Sad to hear.
For many people, MIDI-out opens up a world of possibilities. It's not about driving hardware. It's about integrating with our favorite drum plugins and expanding creative workflows.

This sounds very promising and would be definitely interested if you release expansions for Triaz, given that the drum sounds are available as regular .wav files and well organized (like they are in Triaz as of today).

How does the sample import work? In Triaz you have a lot of subcategories - how much of that would the auto-categorization feature get?

Great to hear this is so close to release! For non-Triaz owners, will there be a demo and can you confirm any intro or crossgrade (Evo/Rev) offer?

Post

Please please please tell me this will work on 10.13 on Mac
