The plugin shows up under the distortion category in cubase (VST3).
This is now my go-to delay and it’s probably the only one I have (30+) that can do everything I need.

Hmm, yes that strange. (Whereas i have as said about 17% and no glitches here. Studio One).comfortablynick wrote: Wed Feb 07, 2024 5:37 pmOk, when I look at the Win 11 task manager, Reaper is using about 4.8% CPU with Recirculate. Without, it's using 3.2%. That's a good difference but shouldn't be enough to start causing audible issues, should it? I'm not sure how else to measure it.c_voltage wrote: Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:50 am That why i think incorrect to refer to low CPU load values while use Reaper, he has some his own special system of usage distribution. So, shows not always real picture of what occurs (along with low usage values though).
This is with a 24/48 project at a 512 sample buffer since I'm just doing playback and no recording currently.

Yeah, I just bought it and that was my first impression as well - this thing could easily become my go-to delay.mixtur.se wrote: Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:34 pm This is now my go-to delay and it’s probably the only one I have (30+) that can do everything I need.
+1 for both of these. In my initial tests with it, I was definitely thinking that it would benefit from some modulation, even if it was just a single LFO. The reverse delay hadn't really crossed my mind yet, but would really be a cool addition. Regardless, this is a well designed plugin with a brilliant UI and workflow. I'm a fan.muki wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2024 5:45 pm+1axb312 wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:57 pm Any plans to add more modes to Recirculate? Would be great if it had a reverse delay. Cheers.
a full modulation (lfo/adsr/mseg/etc) matrix like in pendulate or fabfilter timeless or byome/triad
or u-he mfm or gs-dsp would be super-cool![]()

The delay tap UI is misleading - it needs more work to be more interactive. It implies more interaction that it has - if you're going to dedicate so much space to something like that it needs to work more like Timeless3, else give more space to all the other (crowded but well-organized) elements.cryophonik wrote: Thu Feb 08, 2024 4:35 pmYeah, I just bought it and that was my first impression as well - this thing could easily become my go-to delay.mixtur.se wrote: Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:34 pm This is now my go-to delay and it’s probably the only one I have (30+) that can do everything I need.![]()

I'd consider this delay if they can get a handle on the CPU usage and cut it in half. Agree that a few additional features would also go a long way.

Im experiencing the same bug in Logic, I sent Eventide a video showing it and they are investigating. What I noticed is it doesn’t happen right when I load the plug-in, but only a little time after using it. I haven’t found any other patterns. If I remove the plug-in and re insert, the static is temporarily gone again. I’ll report back if I hear anything.comfortablynick wrote: Tue Feb 06, 2024 9:37 pmTried that, it didn't solve the problem. Not sure what's going on because it doesn't seem to be taxing my system.pekbro wrote: Fri Feb 02, 2024 10:19 pm @nick: maybe try increasing the buffer size for your audio interface?
Edit: confirmed this is happening in Reason as well with VST3. Static that develops after a few echoes. I also notice that when changing a delay value in the drop down, it will randomly display the fraction sometimes, and the decimal number other times. Example 1/2 or 2.00. Not sure why it does as it doesn't seem right. Again can't find a pattern to it.

They don’t reply to my emails. They only replied to the first I sent regarding the static / crackling in recirculate. Never got a response on any follow ups again despite me taking the time to provide videos and such.Vortifex wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 12:57 pm What are people's experiences with support from Newfangled? It's disappointing. The plugins aren't even showing up in my DAW after a scan. I think it's related to iLok authorisation but iLok have said it's down to the developer to identify the exact issue. I've emailed Eventide, hopefully I'll have more luck there.MattLeschuck wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:19 amThey don’t reply to my emails. Dumb question, but did you do a 'deep rescan' (that's what it's called in Ableton at least)? When I install new plugins before authorizing in iLok I have to do that.Vortifex wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 3:05 pm It's disappointing. The plugins aren't even showing up in my DAW after a scan. In Ableton to start a deep rescan hold ALT/Option and click "Rescan."

ILOK: The only times I’ve encountered this, it was because when opening the DAW I chose not to authorize the plugin (as the iLok dongle was disconnected). After that, the plugin would not reappear until I reinstalled it and then authorized it.Vortifex wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 6:20 pmTried everything in FL and Reaper, no luck.ROTMetro wrote: Sat Feb 15, 2025 4:38 pmDumb question, but did you do a 'deep rescan' (that's what it's called in Ableton at least)? That was in Live.
