Your comment is that as well.

I was happy to pay the update price, yeah it's not perfect but they do seem to work on it.

TBH, I realize how much the GUI does to a plugin in terms of working with it. I feel weird with the new GUI. I somehow feel like working with a worse plugin, instead of something which has been improved. If I didn't know V1, I probably would have a hard time finding stuff.

I would have even said it doesn't seem to sound as good as V1, but, I could get a hold of myself before I did.

Works fine over here on Win.

The browser works better, but the search function is always broken as the category tab. Also resizing feature has been done in a hurry it seems, there is no percentage or saving function. Is it just me ? M1 Pro 14”

Post

I think it saves when you save the project? At least it sounds like that in the changelog:
Plugin UI resizing not applied any more when loading a bank with
resize info from Largo 2, only when loading the DAW project (depends on
DAW).
Still stupid. It should save it when the user resizes the plugin.

Sorry for taking so long to do such a simple task.
It's finally up on my Freebies page: https://www.plughugger.com/freebies.html

I also found some other old sounds for Largo which I forgot I ever made.

Cheers and thanks for helping me do this.
Neon City for u-he Repro - 80s pop & Synthwave soundbank
HARDWARE SAMPLER FANATIC - Akai S1100/S950/Z8 - Casio FZ20m - Emu Emax I - Ensoniq ASR10/EPS

Did somebody sell or exchange a license for Largo here in kvr?
Is it possible at all such transfer?
I'm willing to sell or trade my Largo 1.8 license - too much software already, not enough time.
Cheers :)

Hey fceramic, do you still have that AB Metric for sale. I made an account and it wont let me contact you otherwise.

Yes, it is possible. I'm not sure about the exacty procedure though. You might have to contact Waldorf's support.

Waldorf are ignoring my ticket(s). They closed the first one I sent without addressing it. The 2nd duplicate I submitted has also not been acknowledged.

Largo is still super buggy in Logic 10.8.1 on my M2 Mac Mini Pro. GUI size still does not stick, always defaults to original size. There is lag when switching banks. Saving patches with Logic's internal preset management system is broken. And the worst one yet is that when opening a saved project, all the filter envelopes in Largo reset to ZERO. Happens in every Largo instance.

Wonder if that's just me with my particular Logic+Sonoma+M2 setup, cuz you guys don't seem to be experiencing this, it seems.

Largo 2 hasn't been updated in 3 months.

Post

TBH, I only ever used Largo v1 in the last few months. Largo v2 isn't a good update IMO, and, I'm not impressed how they handle their software updates either. Largo v1 got loads of updates, v2 has only seen the initial update, which fixed the most apparent things. I really expect more from Waldorf. If you take a look back when they released Largo, PPG Wave 3.V and Lector, this is really quite poor.

Fortunately, v1 keeps working on Windows.

ok thanks, just found a place called 'knobcloud' dedicated to license transfer between users.
Have tons of plugins i don't use,but can't decide which one could be useful eventually.
For example i have Tone2 Rayblaster for years, offer it few times as exchange for something else (nobody interested) and never found a place for it in the mix among subtractive synths,so just deinstall and forget it.
Yesterday install it again and made absolutely insane stuff with it,cause it's kind of innovative machine,so happy nobody want it :):):)
Same with fx.
Man never know what will be useful some day:)
Cheers :)
p.s: Never sell a synth, today may consider it a trash, but tomorrow could become a gold.
Never been fan of retro synth and emulations, but recently bought a Gforce Imposcar by mistake, now i'm so addicted to it,can't stop working with it...so my new motto is when you can afford something or have dope discount - buy everything you can, some day may will find it irreplaceable ....hahaha great wisdom isn't it :):):)

I haven’t updated because I have read the feedback on kvr. Maybe lot of other largo V1 users have done the same and haven’t updated - so Waldorf could be thinking there is no interest in Largo, because nobody buys their update

Post

Yeah... also they didn't really give potential buyers a lot of arguments, with that kind of GUI.

Post

it's a great synth.

the GUI is a subjective thing. it's quite usable.
