The synth is now feature complete since one hour. The graphics have also been reworked (again). Some patches are still missing. We will take care of the installers now.Trancer wrote: Mon Feb 12, 2024 8:37 am You are starting from version 3 in beta.
When will version 3 be available?

I hope it's a well developed granular implementation. I'm still looking for my favorite synth with granular.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 3:13 pm Got a screenshot for us? Also the new granular osc!

sorry for getting offtopic, but, did you try pigments? If yes, what does it lack in granular synthesis?pdxindy wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 5:44 pmI hope it's a well developed granular implementation. Yeah, I have Pigments and the Granular implementation is very capable. It's just that Pigments is heavy on the CPU and I'm not quite satisfied with the sound quality and in particular in exchange for that much CPU.exmatproton wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 5:45 pmsorry for getting offtopic, but, did you try pigments? Icarus has always been CPU efficient so if the granular is reasonably well developed and uses less cpu that Pigments, plus adds a bit of Tone2 panache, it could turn out to be a well used granular tool for me.

Yeah I don't feel lacking in granular at all with pigments, current, novum, omnisphere, equator and bitwig sampler. But tone2 are usually quite cpu friendly plus great filters and effects.

agreed on the CPU usage prior to version 5. 5 is actually doing very well over here.pdxindy wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 5:56 pmYeah, I have Pigments and the Granular implementation is very capable. But yeah...I am really curious about Tone2's implementation. Love Icarus as a whole as well

All of Tone2's synths use multi-core implementation, and they are extremely open (and could be working on) about the CLAP format. When I reached out to them about their recommended DAW, they answered Bitwig for performance reasons.exmatproton wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 6:06 pmagreed on the CPU usage prior to version 5. 5 is actually doing very well over here.pdxindy wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 5:56 pmYeah, I have Pigments and the Granular implementation is very capable. Will this be in CLAP then? I have Nemesis but that isn't
