Would love to use the new Revolution in Ableton without the native plugins.
All of the expansions we'll make for Triaz will include the raw wav files :tu:

You would have a far better experience using them in Triaz though, due to all the presets / layering / sound design and patterns it would come packaged with specifically for Triaz. But you'd get a sample pack version too, yes. We don't want to hide / lock our sounds behind proprietary formats.

Even the 15,000 samples included with Triaz, which is years of work, are unlocked and available for you to use anywhere :tu:
Despite the impressive number of 15.000, the total file size is only 3.4 GB?

I understand compression is convenient for storage and download. However, I personally value having access to the raw, uncompressed versions of the samples for maximum quality and flexibility in my projects and of course future sample packs I could come up with. My DAW projects usually operate at 48 kHz or 96 kHz.

So, my question is: would it be possible to get access to the uncompressed samples? I've checked the settings and saw they're currently 44.1kHz.

Of course, I completely understand if offering uncompressed versions isn't feasible or part of the design vision. Regardless, I wanted to politely inquire and express my interest.

I'm particularly interested in having them at 48kHz or even higher if they are available.

That's the zip file size. Once extracted the samples are around 4.6Gb I think. There is no compression at all on the samples themselves.

Hey Wave Alchemy guys, this thing is officially awesome. I know many people are adding to the wish list in a thread announcing all your hard work to date but know that it probably comes from a place of wanting you to be the defacto gold standard for drum sequencing.

Also, you guys need to post in the new product area of the other website beginning with gear and ending in space. It deserves to have the notice there too. Matter of fact this should be a necessary plugin for anyone serious about drum sequencing in a DAW not designed for such.

All the best to you guys. This is an epic release and I hope you cracked open some champagne at your headquarters

Looks nice. Not sure I need another drum machine plugin however I'd be very interested if it had 2 things:
-Timestretch (even something lo-fi like abletons impulse stretch)
-A single drum version to be able to load multiple into the pads of devices like maschine, ableton drum racks or bitwig drum machines, which are the things inprefer to use.

Post

Demoing and it's quite awesome.

I'll be the one person with this feature request / observation, but it's one of the only things I miss that keep me going back to using Drum Racks in Live:

Would love to see the ability to route drums to out individual channels + master - so you could glue the kit in Triaz, but essentially use vst effects per track.

Certainly not a deal breaker but would be nice to have - but not sure anyone has that feature.

That would be cool. Triaz Kick, Triaz Snare, etc.

Will there be a similar compatibility update or specific presets for Complete Drums 2 package or anything similar? There doesn't necessarily have to be, I am just curious.

Also, definitely a great release. Congratulations! I look forward to supporting your future releases as well.

No I mean like 1 drum module vst. Load any of these but only one. No point having different vsts for all types.

Well, if you want to do it the easy way, sure

It does have multiple outputs. Even the effects can be routed to dedicated outputs,

Have to admit some elements are not where expected - it's not immediately intuitive to me. I think the functionality is great as is the quality and the sound, but there's some usability issues.

f**king brilliant involving Fircomp, I had no idea. Love this plugin so much ! thanks

edit: omg you can map the xy pad to motion sequencers!!

I have a (small) feature request. I might even be missing something that’s already there.

The one thing I’m not really gelling with in Triaz is the way you have to paint the notes in the sequencer. I just like to click and have a note with a fixed velocity value (like for example in Geist). In Triaz the velocity depends on where exactly you click. I want all my velocities the same; I prefer to adjust them afterwards.

The single sequencer row at the bottom of the GUI does this (I’m not at the computer right now, but I think it’s one click for a velocity value of 50 and double click for 100 - I’d prefer that the other way around btw). I’d like to have this option too in the main sequencer. Maybe by way of a setting, or a modifier key.

You can already do the this via Settings/Mapping & Routing?

Yeah I agree with your points, also a randomizer with some options would be nice to have, like in atlas 2 you can have some mirroredit, see screenshot. It make some interesting repeating options. Also the option of probability (0-100%) of generating a step in randomizer mode (like in ADSR drum machine) would make it even better. It is a best of all worlds combined in one.

Also consider an sample-normalizer option (like in TAL DRUM, I use it all the time to get everything to 0 dB)

But first impression is that this is a really great drum sampler/sequencer.
Thanks for releasing the non kontakt version, very much appreciated!

Even if I have to put all my drums samples in the USER dir and having them double on the disk now :) (TAL drum / ATLAS / ADSR Drummachine user here) :phones:
