Plugin that compares levels of two inputs, and then gates accordingly?

I have a recording of an interview recorded with two mics. There's quite a bit of leakage going on, so simple gating doesn't work: sometimes the main voice gets choked and sometimes other speaker is heard.
So I came up with this solution: to compare volume levels of both inputs and make gating depending on that. I'll try to do this with FL's peak controller and formula controller, but perhaps there's already a vst that can do this better?
Edit: FL stuff worked well for this, but if there's a plugin that can do this I'm still interested.

In conference audio, this behavior is achieved with a gating automixer. I don't know off hand of a VST that does so but searching gating automixer vst yields this result https://www.wtautomixer.com which may be overkill.
Another option is using a gate that has an inverse mode like Unfiltered Audio's G8. In this mode, the audio that is typically silenced from the gate is audible and the audio that is typically heard from the gate being open is silenced. It would probably require an instance on each audio channel with a duplicate of each mic track used to sidechain the G8 that is on each track.

Thank you!
WT Automixer, it seems what is needed here. However it's $160 and needs iLock even for demoing.
As for G8, I couldn't find an option to gate depending on which input is louder.

I couldn't find an option to compare two inputs there.fhunktion wrote: Mon Feb 19, 2024 5:36 pm Maybe meldas mratio? The Multiband version can be set to trigger based on loudness?

Thanks! Big Beautiful Door' by Boz can use sidechain signal as gate control, but not difference in level between main and sidechain.

I think it’s one of the presets in the full version, the crossover options have one that is level based so it can be set to output the loudest of of the main signal or the side chain signal. I’m not at my computer to have a look but I’m sure it can be done.

Perhaps, another plugin by melda? Mratio has only free version and crossover options are just different curves.fhunktion wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 8:49 amI think it’s one of the presets in the full version, the crossover options have one that is level based so it can be set to output the loudest of of the main signal or the side chain signal. In fact MRatioMB is also free. But I couldn't figure out how to apply gate depending on what channel (input or side-chain) is louder. There are many devices, and only drum switcher has input selection.fhunktion wrote: Thu Feb 22, 2024 11:24 am https://www.meldaproduction.com/MRatioMB
It’s the multiband version, it’s not free.

MratioMB is a powerful and sophisticated plugin, as getting started manual is 16 pages, and full manual is 130. I went through them but couldn't find a way to automate crossover knob itself.
Thank you anyway!

It took about 1 minute and 45 seconds.

Actually, I spent more time uploading the image in the example.
