Funny, I was just watching Jeremy's Triaz walkthrough on YT and the entire time I was thinking that it was very much like a software version of my RYTM mk2, especially on the sequencer side. You guys are still the best in the drum sampling game. I'm sold!

I've always loved the parameter lock sequencing stuff on Elektron hardware, so I had to add our own take on that. It's fantastic for adding movement and interest to beats, as I am sure you are aware.

This plugin is really insane. The layering and ability to modulate the XY makes percussion and hi hats sound so much more interesting. Just a very exciting release that stands out in a sea of plugins.

Hi Dan! Yes, I did and still use your samples wherever I can - I even loaded up my RYTM and Digitakt with them! I just bought Triaz and have playing around with it for the past few hours and it’s very impressive! I think I just found a new go-to drum plugin!

I've just realized, to my surprise and disappointment, my DAW (Bitwig Studio, the modular heaven) doesn't identify any parameter, and I can't modulate anything! When I right-click on a parameter, a pop-up appears with 'assign automation.' Clicking on it opens another pop-up with 'connect to automation 1 to 12'? Seriously, how cumbersome is this?? Does it mean I'm restricted to assigning only 12 automations at most?

Could someone kindly snap me out of this nightmare? I'm desperately hoping that I've overlooked a crucial detail and that this is just a bad dream.

This was actually turned on as default during beta stage, but the behavior was turned off before launch due to a number of people feeling the opposite as you do and finding it annoying to hear drums trigger when navigating drum tabs whilst a pattern is playing back.

I agree that this should be a user choice though and we can look at adding this to the settings menu in an update

As mention elsewhere, this is a V1.0.0 release and we had important decisions to make in order for this product to come out within a reasonable timeframe and gauge market reaction etc. Our main focus for V1 was to of course make the engine itself and other important areas solid and powerful and deliver - thus delivering great product. We consider this a bells and whistles feature that will certainly be addressed. I can be transparent and write more about our roadmap in longer post shortly so you can see what I mean.

Having more than 12 automations is important for some, no doubt! But the reality is, that this affects less than 5% of users for a product like Triaz - especially due to us having motion lanes too within the sequencer. Figuring out the best way to implement this this before launch would have delayed things and then a far larger majority of people would have been upset

This is a very complex plugin and has over 1,200 automatable controls. Don't worry, almost everything mentioned in this thread is already on the cards for updates and has been discussed well before this forum post existed

Yes, this is a known bug that came do light after launch and will be addressed within the next couple of weeks. It also happens in Logic on some machines, but only when using HOST sync and playing back from bar 1 in your DAW. It does actually start from beat 1 (everything is in sync as expected), it just mutes the first step.

We have around 6 known minor bugs that we are able to replicate that will be addressed in a couple of weeks as an update

Excellent. I also would like to be able to automate from Bitwig but you all did add a lot of great automation in Toraiz so it's working for me so far. Thing about BW is we get so used to mapping stuff due to it being so easy that it's almost jarring when you can't do it the expected way.

Having a list of 1200 parameters to wade through would be brutal so I totally get it.

This really is awesome. Have a few questions on it.

Lets say you make 4 patterns and then trigger them in your DAW with MIDI notes. And then you want to export audio stems. Will it render the stems across the entire track so the pattern switching is all captured in one take?

I ask because I really like the master bus options but would like the option to balance the mix further down the road. I guess I could just keep everything in Triaz the entire time and use the filters to EQ. Still figuring that out.

When you click the audio 'Export' button it renders the currently selected pattern bank. It would be a bit annoying if you had 12 banks active and it automatically rendered all 12, since this could consume some time if you have long patterns using 1/4 speeds etc. You may often also only want to export certain banks and mix and match them etc. We could consider adding an option for this though but I doubt many would use it. So essentially just export the pattern banks you need to, or export MIDI and do it that way.

Worse case is I just use the multiout and capture the audio that way and then use plugins on the drum buss. But if I do use the multiout are the channel FXs captured? I need to just figure this out probably on my own when I get a chance. For example, if I sent the snare to the reverb would that reverbed sound play through the master out or the snare out,

When exporting in MULTI out mode it will export all 12 drum stems automatically, as well as export the 3 send FX as stems too! It will also bypass master out when doing this.
