Yeah I know, but it doesn't work in the .remotemap file. All the others parameters do.
Continuing my descent into OCD/artistic procrastination, I notice in the plugin that unlike every other parameter "HPF Cutoff" has a space between it and the following colon before the parameter value in TAL-Pha's lower right display. Could this be a clue to the .remotemap behavior??? I've tried including a space after "HPF Cutoff" in the .remotemap, but no juice. Underscore is no better.

Stay tuned for the next episode of the mystery thriller As the Knob Turns with your host, mjudge55.

Nice finding, this could be the reason. :tu:

Version 1.1.2 / 26.02.2024

: SAW PW and PULSE PW not in sync with fast LFO modulations fixed.
: Wrong delay sync delay time text fixed.

Post

I've been titting about with the new colour dialogue options and have made, well, rather a silly amount of GUI colour schemes for TAL-Pha. 50 to be precise.

Would people be interested in me sharing them?

Image

The colour schemes are inspired by favourite hardware synths, soft synths, motor racing liveries, football kits and all sorts of other "pretty" nonsense! Maybe you recognise some of the above examples. :)

These are super cool Matt! Great work! I'd love to try them.

I wish TAL would inform its customers when they update, or build an update alert into the customer plugins.

Yep, put 'em on Pastebin and then post the link: https://pastebin.com/

No need for that, the newest version of the plugin allows saving the skin as files now.
File extension is: .talalphacolor

Ah I didn't know that. Handy for personal use but actually a bit more clunky for sharing purposes.

I hope not.
I am tired of everything going online these days and i hate plugins that does this.
When i want to be creative and I open a plugin and it says there is a new version I end up closing the Daw to get the latest version instead on focusing on what i was going to do.

I agree, an email would be best.

I don't think a one size fits all solution would work.
I, and I am sure many others have spoken to Patrick about this... for awhile he had started to tweet about the updates more often and sometimes he puts it on his home page... the thing though is sometimes he works (fixes bugs) so quickly and often that even the change list isn't updated at the same time... and sometimes you get a new update the day after the last update...

Sadly I have resorted to just periodically checking his website and looking at the current version (which in itself is not always accurate).

I've brought this up before and was told that it's expensive to have an email service or something to that effect. Not sure if that's true but that's the reason I was given for why no email updates about new versions.

Post

It can work out costly if you have a large number of subscribers and send out daily emails, as can happen when he updates so regularly.
