Launching a video series showcasing Harmony Bloom in action, alongside diverse plugins like Reason Studios' Objekt. I hope you like it! Thanks to Mario for this creative little gem

Not so much dance music but more rhythm based stuff. It's excellent.stash98 wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 3:44 pm Safe to say this is more a plugin geared towards ambient artists? Or are there any demos of people using this in more of a dance music context?

Use a 64-pad Battery kit and listen to this thing create rhythms you’d never make on your own.

Although it can be used in dance music, given the generative nature of coherent chaos that Harmony Bloom offers, it works really well for ambient music.stash98 wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 3:44 pm Safe to say this is more a plugin geared towards ambient artists? But, I'm working on a new version with the intention of making HB much more versatile and customizable, in many aspects.
Btw, a few days ago I was creating music live on my YouTube channel, I created several ideas in real time from scratch, you can see it here.

One thing I would like in this intention is to have (if possible) more style based presets. At the moment I am nearly always "landing" on the magic note set cause I simply have not idea how to use all the other specialised notesets (simply the music theory for this is missing).MarioNietoWorld wrote: Wed Feb 28, 2024 11:11 am But, I'm working on a new version with the intention of making HB much more versatile and customizable, in many aspects.

Is it possible to lock the pitch so that HB is only generating rhythmic information?

It'd be nice to have an auto quantize with percentage and swing. That would allow us to reel in the randomness a bit.
It'd also be nice if Loop Length could be switchable to Loop Duration. As it, changing the Loop Length speeds up the notes, a Loop Duration would keep the same speed but shorten the time until the pattern repeats.

Here's part two of Harmony Bloom in action. This time, I'm using 3 instances to compose a sentimental, atmospheric track with Kinetic Metal and Dune 3 as sound sources. The last part will showcase its percussive capabilities.
I hope Mario doesn't mind me sharing them here.

Hey, I like the swing option! I take note and will think about the other request.Uncle E wrote: Wed Feb 28, 2024 5:00 pm It'd be nice to have an auto quantize with percentage and swing. That would allow us to reel in the randomness a bit.

Hey, getting back to the topic of Dance music, I hope to publish the new update soon where it will be possible to create sequences "in time" (if the user wishes), today I uploaded a small demo video where I show it in action. All parts except the drums are triggered with Harmony Bloom.stash98 wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2024 3:44 pm Safe to say this is more a plugin geared towards ambient artists? EDIT: .. oh and there it is! Quantization right there in the video just posted by Mario! Awesome! Love this little gem of a plugin!
