I tried cube breath... I knew you were up to something but didn't know it was such a big project. I think you've done an outstanding job!!! Hats off!!! Don't get me wrong now but here are my honest feelings about this. And trust me I'm not trying to be hostile. I really do respect what you've come up with. You might not be a leader but you're a friggin' genius in my eyes.
I don't know if I would use it now since it "completely" takes away my joy in making music (not that I make anything good)... Even though I don't know what I'm doing I would like to be able to play around with it a little. Right now I have no freedom. (except when I sing to it, I think the thing with the fez likes it) Maybe you could add the option to link individual instruments to individual vstis. So instead I would let it play whatever instrument I want. Say I want drumatic drums, synth1 lead etc. On the other hand I'm really glad that I can finally do vocals like the ones in your songs. I thought that was your trade secret.
I'm really glad you came up with this. I can see that you're really proud with this, and trust me with the feedback, and ideas you get here and elsewhere you will be much happier with cube breath (atomic traveler1). I think you're onto something incredible here. a genius like you (don't be humble now, admit it) will turn this thing into something people just can't let go of. I think the main reason I wouldn't play with this a lot right now is that I really would prefer to hear the sounds that I like. if not that's ok I know I'll still play with it.
I wish I could open it up with a screwdriver and see what the hell is inside. is that a band of little blue men enslaved and forced to play pop music??? seriously though I think you opened up a can of worms with this one. now people are going to ask you to do all kinds of stuff to it, because they like it but they want it to be perfect. personally, I want more diddling. I'll let it play but I'll hand out the instruments. Maybe you could even add genre or feeling options too in the future. (pop, hip hop, acid, porn, happy, sad, silly, etc) I hope this helps. I don't know, maybe I'm the wrong guy for this.

I'd say you definitely didn't. You really should be proud of this. Actually, since this came out the "mimetic lion" is no more which makes me happy for some reason. Cube Breath truly catches your unique and character. Awesome work xoxos, honestly. Enjoy it, and thank you for letting others enjoy it as well. beware - this barely runs on my 1.8g at max latency.. (clic on .exe, wait until the bottom of the gui flips down..) so good luck.. did a compile at 22k (this one's 44) which is still ~70%..

..then there's the fact that i doubt anyone else wants to invest the interest to actually understand the thing

I was interested in separate audio outputs for the differeng elements of the audio or possibly generating MIDI outputs to trigger external things like tuz was saying. Basically make it multi audio and/or MIDI out so I can mash the hell out of it in energyXT!

I like it as a little randomizer, really, so far. And I was playing with cube breath a bit last night running it through KTDrumTrigger and having that trigger Kubik and Wusikstation. That was quite interesting.

I think it's quite unique. And if you could get the CPU down some, output multi audio, and let it control other things it would be crazy! I am sincere that I'd like to see more development when you feel like it.

that midi version may be forthcoming, but i find the concept quite disturbing. i wonder why anyone would actually want to make music that sounds this generic. cheesy music generator.. a chuckle.. people making cheesy music.. shudder..

if anyone was interested in trying it, i've found the .dll uses less cpu as a vst in synthedit than using the savihost standalone..

but again.. we're talknig about a vst tht has no midi in and no audio in, so i doubt most hosts will f**k with it.
