Dear KVR Members,

We are happy to announce the release of a complimentary update for Blue Cat's PatchWork, our versatile multi-effects processor and plug-in host.

This new version introduces a new built-in audio file player plug-in, which can be synced with the host's transport. Furthermore, users can now trigger the application version's transport via MIDI, facilitating effortless synchronization of multiple plug-ins. Additional customization options come in the form of 15 new styles for personalized macro controls. This update also includes crucial performance enhancements and fixes, particularly addressing issues on Mac systems. The complete list of updates is available below.

Users can easily download the free update from the same location as the original full version, accessible through the link provided via email upon purchase. Demo versions, supporting various plug-in formats and available for both Mac and Windows PC, can be found at www.bluecataudio.com.

Its use is a regular marketing precursor to future monetization. Don't recall BC using it before is all.

Ah ok. Indeed tried to find other words that sounded similar to "free" for a change! But did not mean to change the meaning, for sure!

With the audio player, is it possible to adjust start and end points? Not for automation, but just what can be played as far as the sample
I read more than post = I listen more than I talk

No, you cannot change the start and end points - it is a pretty basic file player. But you can edit the file elsewhere with appropriate loop points before importing it in the player.
