Best state in the install window that the Rando installation is automatic. Why not state the plugin is "installed in the common files vst3 folder" to quote morelia. The stand-alone Rando is installed in the folder ... Just my two cents.

Or make this note in the Manual.

Let me discuss with the team if we can make the install location configurable, but I will for sure have this added to the manual! Thanks!

It can be done. I have no idea how hard it is. I've been told by some developers that it is not possible and yet many, if not most of the plugins I use allow vst3 folder selection. If you can do it without too much pain I really think it is worth it for the user. Although I can only really speak for myself.

Finally Installed Rando. I believe all went well until I got to iLok.
Getting late here soon iLok I just went along and clicked "ok".
So hope it was the correct decision.
I check and Rando Activation Location is in Cloud.
The only software on the cloud. Hmmm.
This is the reason I do not like iLok.
I do not know what I am doing half the time.

Please can you inform me how drag and drop sample to Ableton. Also is the export button on the sequencer only for the midi of the sequence?

Hi @Zeph, it is quite easy: hold down the mouse button on the sample waveform and the mouse pointer will change into a file icon and then you can drag into your DAW. Next week you will also be able to drag from the note on the keyboard directly!

i just got that email, tried to unpack it, but my antivirus just deletes the windows rar straight away saying there a virus inside, Rando 1.0.1 unpacked and installed with no problems

Got the update.

Huge leap in performance. Very noticeable.

In the new additions you have: "Multi Folder/Keyword Search".

If you specify a folder does that restrict randomisation to that folder?
