Best software sampler with library

Hi all,

Due to stolen property I may get some insurance money for new stuff. I'm looking at software samplers, and I have a couple questions beyond the "which one is best"?

1) Which sampler comes with the best library of bread and butter sounds

2) Will any read my old EIII sample CD's I used to use with my EMU sampler?
