Hey, getting back to the topic of Dance music, I hope to publish the new update soon where it will be possible to create sequences "in time" (if the user wishes), today I uploaded a small demo video where I show it in action. All parts except the drums are triggered with Harmony Bloom.

Appreciate you doing this. It sounds very good!

Question: I seem to not getting any Midi Out from the Standalone.
I use LoopMidi as output, have it enabled and actually do get output only when I enable or disable the MidiOut, in that case, I see noteOffs on all notes flash by, so all settings should be correct. But when playing back normally, I get no Midi out.
I test this with the ShowMidi standalone Midi monitor and in VVVV (https://visualprogramming.net) where I'd like to do visuals reacting to the Midi notes...

Works great in Bitwig when I send out Midi from Harmony Bloom VST via the Hardware Instrument device to LoopMidi, so I guess it's the Standalone?
Using Windows 11 Home here.

Otherwise really cool plugin! :-)

Hey! In the current version, the sequence can be triggered and transposed from the MIDI input, but, using the note collections that define the intervals between the generated notes, although in the new version (1.1.4) that I hope to publish in the following days will already make it possible to send chords and notes to Harmony Bloom to be played instead of the note collections :)

By the way, here you can see almost 2 hours of music creation with Harmony Bloom (1.1.4) and some of its new features, and GUI changes:

Just discovered your amazing Harmony Bloom today and purchased. Really great UI except- I am old and perhaps my vision is not the best. I have a very hard time with the low contrast of much of the display. I would be very grateful for some option to boost the overall contrast, or colors. I am not asking for skinning or "light mode" just some way to lessen the eye strain in reading the currently dim text. Thank you so much for your software and consideration :)

Oh, the gray text. I hate it.
I mean I really hate it!
Ask me if I hate gray text!

I'm glad it's getting noticed:

Hey, thanks for bringing this up. The new version is going to have many changes at the UI level, I've increased the contrast and reorganized the UI. I'm working on the last corrections, and I will take the opportunity to give even more contrast to the presets panel. I'll keep you posted!

this kind of responsiveness by the developer is so refreshing. :tu:

this looks very cool.

are you familiar with Lucid Rhythms on youtube?

this looks very similar to the software they are using, which is i believe a custom app they wrote themselves.

::edit::

i apologize if that sounded like a criticizm, i didnt mean it that way and it def is not.

the software they use looks very nice, but they dont seem to be developing it for public release. yours looks like a great alternative, and ive been looking for something like it since i started watching those videos.

nice job!

Lucid Rhythms is Mirko Ruta, IIRC he has done sound design for both Nexus and Avenger, and also the visuals for many of their respective demos on Youtube.

As a matter of fact he said he is considering a public release for the software he wrote for the LR videos, though he didn't give a timeframe for that; right now he's probably focusing on other stuff.

Yes, I'm aware of their videos—they're truly enchanting. Additionally, there's a channel named Project JDM that employs a similar approach. Although the videos on this channel are somewhat less detailed, they are nonetheless fascinating and mesmerizing. The purpose of Harmony Bloom is to leverage this technique to provide users with extensive flexibility and choices.
