Where did the Plugin Alliance Monthly Loyalty vouchers go?

I wait for the refurbished Wolfgang Palm plugins.
For now I have all useful plugins from PA, so there is nothing to gain from any voucher…
80% of their portfolio is redundant anyway… Who needs 132 different compressors/filters/channel strips? 2 or 3 would be already more than famous old studios had at hand…

I completely agree. I had a one year subscription with over 100 plugins and only 4 are still in a dusty
PA Folder. I´d say about 3 % of their plugins are ok. The most unacceptable thing of some plugins are miserable guis. There are generally way better choices imo. And to offer a full production subscription with not even one decent reverb is embarassing, also their limiters are the last ones I would use for mastering and neither their amps, nor their channel strips or synths belong to the best ones. NI as the new owner is another downgrade.

Can't you just say that they are not for you. To say that their plugins aren't great is simply ridiculous.DCrown wrote: Wed Mar 06, 2024 10:59 amI completely agree. I had a one year subscription with over 100 plugins and only 4 are still in a dusty

Wide sweeping statements like that is about as close to trolling as you can get without being labeled one.

Don't remember exactly where/how they were free. (BPB possibly)

I don't think, no, I am not the only one with this opinion as you can already see in your post!
Does former CEO Dirk influence my opinion? I don't think so, although he was the least sympatic and most arrogant one, I remember.
It's pretty simple, you can compare every plugin to every other plugin, it's called installing demo versions.
I think, I demoed every brand and pa plugins belong to the worst ones with only a few exceptions (maybe 5-8 plugins out of more than 100! and that's weak).
And of course it's MY OPINION, who's else's could this opinion be?! (it's my post!).
One year was enough time to test a lot, no, every pa plugin and when I compare them to Waves Horizon or all Eventide plugins or all Sonnox plugins or..., I come to the conclusion that pa is a joke, I can't even take pa seriously.
Your reply with a huffy vibe speaks for itself, you really expect everyone to like a company just because you might like the company?! or are you seeking justification (or fellows in misery) for having spent money on a companies products?!
Now imagine my view and situation.
The company that gets the by far most hate is Waves. Waves is the by far best company IMO! I don't care at all about the fact that many a man dislikes Waves, I use many Waves plugins for many years almost every day!

Lindell TE-100 is my favorite character EQ. Special sauce. The Ampeg SVT is the best bass amp sim I've ever tried.
Big Al, Lisa, Amek 200, DSM V3 are also real quality.

Completely agree. There is a vast difference between preferring the sound of plugin X over plugin Y and completely dismissing a major plugin developer's entire 180+ plugin catalog, ... uh, except for one, ... or two, ... percent.clivestretch wrote: Tue Apr 02, 2024 10:39 pmCan't you just say that they are not for you. Id put PA in probably the top 5 developers. Lots of very good very useable plug ins. But that’s just my opinion.
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

Yeah you are - amongst us real guitarist the PA-amps are considered to be amongst the best there is (they're all developed by Igor Nembrini btw., who is generally well-respected).
Just from your ridiculous posts here it's fairly abvious that you have a loud mouth but no real clue. you obviously try to boost your ego by attempting to appear as an expert while you're just some beginner - how well is that working out?

Haha the amps are just as good as the Nembrini amps, I agree.jens wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 8:47 amYeah you are - amongst us real guitarist the PA-amps are considered to be amongst the best there is (they're all developed by Igor Nembrini btw., who is generally well-respected).

There are so many threads about how good Nembrini amps are and how widely used they are, totally agree with you lol
Never seen Nembrini even mentioned, when it's about guitar, but I am not a real guitarist anyway, I am just AI.
As always, use whatever you like.
Especially as far as guitars are concerned, you are completely right and my 21 year old Fender Strat and very old Marshall tube amp are just smiling together with me, you are an expert in knowing people.
