I'm in love with FLS 5
I guess that would be relevant if K-v-R had 61,000 members and at least 1/4 were FL owners...but that's like a someone from Tahiti saying only 100 Tahitians like hockey so hockey must suck....
And we've had about half a day to vote and everyone is busy downloading FL5...

To answer the poll:

Maybe you can stop using Protools, but Audition (or another editor)is always needed IMO

can't live without Audition.

@ Kovacs:
maybe KVR isn't the right platform for FLS!

can't argue with that,
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I see your answer but what was the question? :hihi:

No, to be honest, FLS runs perfectly well on KVR. Or the FLS operator does, with a beer or some coffee. The FL Forums are okay but KVR rocks.

personally audition only for easy time stretchin like for the chip munk sounds but everything else FL5 its still not what it should be FPC should be alot easier and not be pre loaded with 15 different drum sounds the automation is beautiful lil tricky at first but sit back for a second and it will come to you.

It is my main tool but for mixing I'm not comfortable with FLS 5 so I use ACID. I believe you need at least one more tool alongwith FLS 5. Either an Audio Editor or Seq. It's not that you cannot do mixing in FLS 5, you can. It's capable of so many things but for me, i'm used to acid and it's pretty stable in comparison to FLS. that's all about it. IMHO, I don't think FLS 5 lacks too many features in comparison to other big sequencer. one more thing, some people are used to liner seq not patterns so they may not like it much.

the one fact that i love in FL5 is that u can side up the whole song so easy and if u mess up u can go undo it. For a amateur like me its very easy if u take the time, less mutli tasking.

slice up the whole song
