Today I opened a preset, copied it to two empty patterns and adjusted each pattern to taste. Exported the Midi for each pattern to Reaper to loop and jam against. Each pattern is two bars long, but when it loops at bar 6 the playback of the first pattern is changed. Seems like a controller is not being reset? Ok, so I decide I'll export the audio. Now it plays correctly, but now each pattern is four bars long.
Anybody have a similar experience?

Does TRIAZ have Midi Out, so I can drive e. g. Groove Agent, Avenger etc. with it?

It doesn't have MIDI Out, but it does have a nice Midi Export function. You can export individual tracks or all at once, and it will include swing, velocity, etc.

Yes - but it would more pratical to hear it at the same moment. Triaz is for sequencing what e. g. the Beat Designer from Cubase could be (if Steinberg would not have been too lazy for updating it).
As long as Triaz has no midi out, I go on with Kompulsion with for those actions.
But anyways, I'm very impressed - Triaz does everything else right.

Yeah, not a big deal for me, personally, but I can totally see how someone would like it to do straightforward Midi Out. That said, I really like the export functionality (both audio and MIDI) and looking forward to the updates on those as well.

If you could add the ability to record samples into TRIAZ, add sample editing, loop slicing, and MIDI out, you'd hands down have the perfect product, and be undisputed.

Yeah I reported something similar earlier in this thread. The midi export doesn't seem to work right every time, you get an older pattern when you export midi sometimes. WA responded and said to use the delete (trash can) icon to clear out old patterns and then generate the new pattern. But this isn't a great solution since it is easy to forget to do that every time I want to export and then I end up with a different midi pattern exported than what is currently in the sequencer. I pointed this out but WA never responded after that. They could just auto-clear the midi export buffer when you open the export window and it would solve the issue. I am glad more people are noticing the issue.

I am on the verge of buying this, and have been on the NI forums for... a while now, looking for a better way to work around NI's ecosystem, and I found someone talking about Triaz there. I installed the demo last night and have got Triaz connected to my NI MK3 hardware without trouble, but there is one thing I need to understand before buying:

Am I being restricted from adding whole folders to my "user presets/samples"? The best Ive been able to do, so far, is to add samples manually to one single 'channel' at a time, but I cant seem to save it into a preset or really add much of my library to Triaz. I tried to search through this thread for others talking about this, but the thread is long lol.

Is demo mode stopping me from importing/indexing my main (3rd party) library and expansion content? Or, how can I do this? I am ECSTATIC to move beyond battery/maschine right now... please help!!

Ok. This is HUGE for me, and really the only way I will buy. I have to be able to feed my library into the indexer, or adding individual samples would take a year lol. I have 2+TB of various material, including the whole K14 nonsense, etc, and I need to know if this can mass-import/index.

It will "tag" samples by using the name of the folders they reside in. As mentioned earlier in the thread (by someone else, credit due), I'm using symbolic links (as mentioned elsewhere in the thread) to setup my folders so I don't have to copy samples and waste disk space.
