MIDI Learn with Roland A-800 Pro

I thought if I made sure the A-800 keyboard was to MIDI channel 1, and I set a synth plugin to use MIDI learn, that it would be a simple task.

So far, it doesn't work in an easy way the way my old keyboard did.

EDIT: It seems to work now after updating the driver for it.
