iZotope Trash Released

Anyone looking for a demo version, like I was? There is none, only Trash Lite.

I do like though.. that the lite version installs without having to use the iZotope Product Portal. They are making quite a mess though having the free Ozone 11 EQ managed through Native Access (as well as Vinyl), but a lot of others still have to make due with Product Portal.. Same for the login on the iZotope user account; it redirects you to a Native Instruments web thing for the sign in, but can't use my NI ID to log on.

When the hell are they going to streamline this whole thing? NI have taken over iZotope ages ago (or they merged or whatever). Then let us have a unified, streamlined experience .. jeez

Edit: nvm.. the straight download from the website is the full version instead of the ' light'

Ok.. thoughts.. I am glad I tried this... it is not for me. Not even an option to rescale the interface (AU on Mac). Some controls allow mouse-wheel control but then, others don't even-though it would make perfect sense to. Like the filter cutoff frequency..

Pass.. hard pass. Back to lovely Shaperbox.

Some devs are apparently neither a government nor a corporate monstrosity but essentially just small businesses run by honest people. Don't believe the hype though, everything probably is just as corrupt and lame as a pharmaceutical company so therefore it should be no big deal when pfizer puts out Trash 4. Instabuy.

Their website is a mess, I can't access my account, I'm signed in but all account pages are blank, frozen pages.

I own Music Production Suite 5, at some point it's clear that Trash will be included, might as well wait for 7 and see.

That is the price for chumps who checked at 12:42. If you check between 1:14 and 1:37 I think you'll find a NIIIICE surprise.

Trash might have literally invented multi-band distortion. If it didn't, it certainly popularized it.

Tweaks seem mostly about usability and more samples.

Looks like a really nice GUI update to me, would be much more useable. Current Trash 2 gui is clunky.

For me Trash 2 doesn't always work well for sounds, sometimes can be a bi lt plasticy, but when it does work it can be really very good.

I think things are weird if you bought the Trash 2 upgrade from Plugin Boutique, like I did. I went to Izotope and they seem to have no knowledge of my purchase, but Plugin Boutique does. $29 for the upgrade. Not sure if I need it, though.

I'm just wondering if they're gonna start the progression all over again.
It really seems a bit rushed and buggy to me, so maybe there will be updates, and maybe new features added?
I don't really know how iZotope operate in this respect, as I only recently started using their plugins again, but I think I would regret not buying it, more than regret buying it.
For me, it's a decent £50 distortion, so I'm glad I got all the self-debating out the way

Take the S/N from plugin boutique, add it in izotopes plugin portal, then go check the site, should show after that.

Anyone know why it's registered in iLok as 'Trash Basura' (The second part of the name was part of the serial as well so not just a weird ilok glitch ...) ?
