I lost my heart in Cap de Creus

Thank you for the helpful replies! I will check the dev's page frequently for updates and when this is ready (the ability to index and load my library from its existing location), I will probably grab this.

One thing I like about using Live's Drum Rack (or even creating each drum part as a separate track and putting wavs directly on the timeline to build up a drum part) is that I can route sidechain compression from the kick /snare/etc track.

What's a good way to do this with Triaz? (in Live/Logic)

I'm doing this usually with Multi Out tracks. It's configurable in Triaz Output routing.
You can have a separate channel for each drum and route this output channel to another channel's sidechain input.
Of course you will lose the master effects from Triaz then (but Triaz's send effects and insert effects will still be possible)

Thanks.

Setting up a new template in Live, will have to add a multi out setup for Triaz to the one I have for Drum Rack and see how I get on.

You're welcome. I have a template set up with all multi out channels in place.
I think you can even switch between multi out and single out. So I do the groove on single out and then switch to multi later (that's how I do it also with Drumazon often).
Even better that you can route the send effects now to separate channels and process them further outside of Triaz.

+1, interested to hear more.
"Plugin has turned Drug now"....and the business knows it.

I'm not sure if I've missed something or not but are there any factory "Channel Presets" ie. the ones that load on the mixer channels ?

Would love to see a more compact version of triaz as an extra plugin, maybe something like a "mini" 4-track version with sequencer and all or most of the other features included in an ergonomic and sensible manner, or a more cut down individual module version. I guess this would also entail a fair amount of extra work in design and execution, and also additional presets etc (though I'd be fine without this) and may not fit with the overall concept of the product. Other than that though, I purchased it yesterday and liking what I've heard so far.

In the settings menu you have the entry "Multi Out" which is initially disabled.
So you make a template with Multi Out enabled, then use the "route each channel to consecutive outputs" in the "Edit mapping & routing" page under "Manage".
Now you can switch back and forth to this config using the "Multi Out" entry in the Settings menu.
It will now either output everything on Master Out 1/2 or on the separate channels when Multi Out is enabled.

Very nice!!

Just set that up now and saved template, so useful.

Much appreciated.

BezO wrote: Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:46 am I'm asking if the 5,000 new samples that are not included with the original NI version are identifiable.
This seems to be the list of 5036 new samples in Triaz Native compared to Triaz Kontakt version:
new_samples_in_triaz_native.zip
new_samples_in_triaz_native.zip
The list was created by finding unique MD5 hashes generated from the raw samples in both Triaz versions.

There was also 20 samples that were detected unique in Triaz Kontakt, i.e. looks like those are not included in Triaz Native:
unique_samples_in_triaz_kontakt.zip
unique_samples_in_triaz_kontakt.zip
Thank you!
