I got that as well with M-O and M-E, not usable TBH.

btw, the M-O mode sounds quite similar to the UA Studer A800 saturation.

The M-O and M-E mode here cuts pretty much all highs completely. Is it not doing that for you? Like there is a simple LPF filter from about 2kHz.

I hoped to see some more information on the machine learning aspect of this plugin.

I'm guessing it's like Tonex and NAM, which are also good for this kind of thing. The main problem with those is everyone thinks they're only for guitar amps. If Analog Obsession makes a plugin that captures and is marketed towards capturing studio devices, he'll have a real hit on his hands.

There are plenty of captures from other hardware, at least for NAM. Heck there are a few rather shady companies selling captures for NAM, trying to capitalize on this (shady in a way that they are probably not actually capturing owned hardware but rather other plugins and renting services like Access Online).

Did you listen to the audio examples Ethan Winer provided? Not a single one of his audio examples has any kind of heavy low pass filtering happening. So whatever you have captured with your AI thing either isn't working correctly or the plugin is bugged in the M-O modes.

Did you listen to the audio examples Ethan Winer provided? Not a single one of his audio examples has any kind of heavy low pass filtering happening. So whatever you have captured with your AI thing either isn't working correctly or the plugin is bugged in the M-O modes.

My hardware and plugin totally identical. Also, I tried with spice before making the unit. Results were pretty same.

Also, I double checked hardware and plugin but no problem. Both same.

IMHO, there may be something wrong with the hardware. M-O and M-E have an over the top, obvious, and filtering effect, not an enhancing subtle, summing effect.

I trained the unit at 96kHz and plug-in resampling internally. Aliasing is totally fine.

I've tried this out a couple of times, as an insert on basslines, and there is only one mode where I can hear it doing anything at all. If I'm honest, where I can hear it doing anything it sounds like the tone is slightly filtered, rather than enhanced, and it is so subtle that you wouldn't notice it in a mix at all. And all of that for 5 times the CPU usage of the instrument I am using it on.

Your hardware is then the broken one. It's not supposed to do any filtering.
