hey everyone, I was wondering what your opinion was on the AOM invisible limiter g3? I keep seeing it in a few mix videos from different people. Seems like something they enjoy in a serial limiter chain. I saw someone use it alongside fab filter pro l. What are your thoughts about this plugin? I've seen some discussions on it but they are pretty dated and was curious what people think about it today.

I would say it's among the better ones, might even work as last on the chain. I subscribe to AOM, I liked G3, but I end up using their latest EQ and strangely enough the G2 on single tracks. I should fire up the G3 today and take it for a spin. Great great plugins.

AOM plugins in general are of a rather high quality. My main gripe with his limiters was the way they can cause some issues with distortion that can sometimes be really difficult to pinpoint. And if you want just pure clipping awesomeness then by far the best option, in my opinion, is still Thimeo Stereo Tool. Nothing comes even close to it's advanced clipper module. Unfortunately it's not exactly easy nor inviting to use so very few people in the music production scene seem to even be aware of it. Probably because it's being sold as a radio/audio streaming processor.
