Simple repitch vst for mac

Hello.
I am searching for a very simple repitch plugin.
I have made a conga with a percussion synth. As it uses a pitch envelope, the conga is out of tune by -40 cents. All the software that i have been trying to go up 40 cents and put it in tune, is also using time stretch which is damaging the sound, of course. I just want to play the sound a little bit faster (40 cents) like a vinyl record does. the sound will be a tiny bit shorter, but i dont care, i just want to tune it perfectly without time stretch damaging the sound. Waveousaur does this nicely, but now im am on mac and i cant find a solution for this. Maybe audacity does it, but i really dont like it. So i was thinking of some vst that could do this in ocenaudio, since this is my fave audio editor at the moment.

yes
but,
as far as i can see it does not load the apple AU plugins
as for other AU/vst with pitch correction:
eventide Quadravox
eventide H910
exponential audio excalibur
soundtoys little alter boy
unfiltered audio BYOME/TRIAD and Fault
u-he Uhbik-G
imho quadravox seems to be one of the better/cleaner ones...

Re-reading your post I now think that the best option would be to load it into a sampler plugin and play it from within that, as you can usually adjust the playback speed in small amounts. Not sure if that's possible within an audio editor that doesn't have MIDI input though.

Melda makes a (free) plugin that can do this but I don't know about Mac. But, I'm sure a big company like Melda has Mac versions.

of course i can load the sample in ableton live sampler and tune it up 40 cents and bounce the result. it's just not practical at all, when i have dozens of samples that i want to tune.onerob wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2024 5:28 pm Re-reading your post I now think that the best option would be to load it into a sampler plugin and play it from within that, as you can usually adjust the playback speed in small amounts. all this plugins are overkill for what i want to do. and i bet that they don't even do what i want, which is a simple repitch. what those plugins do is pitch shift, which is very different from repitch. pitch shift does time stretch. eventide is know for being number one at pitch shift algos. correct me if i am wrong, please. i want a much more simpler operation: repitch!muki wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2024 4:45 pmyes

You can do it with sox speed filter https://man.archlinux.org/man/sox.1.en#speed
I do not think you will be able to do it with a plugin because AU/VST plugins don't work like that, you would need an ARA plugin for it to be able to change the temp of a whole track.

i ended up installing wavosaur on crossover which lets you install win apps on macos
in the meantime if someone come up with a better solution, i am all ears
