KiloHearts just released two new snaps/plugins: Shaper and ShaperTable. A wave shaper, and a wave table shaper.

The first is free for anyone with any of their snap hosts (PhasePlant, SnapHeap, etc.). The second is a premium snap.

My price for ShaperTable as an Ultimate user with all previous plugins was $23.

Their website is currently slammed.

What the heck? I mean, it's $5, but still. Why do they do this?

the ultimate bundle is not on sale, that is the logic behind it. when in sale, then it will be cheaper, but not a lot.

but logic would also predict: do also something for ultimate bundle owners, special price?

o well, 19,50 euro isn't that much.

I just bought it for - if nothing else I want to support KH for the free v2 updater and continuous improvements....its a nice plug and well worth 19 bucks IMO.

I'm tired of distortion...

Then you're not doing it right! Price makes this a no-brainer.

Just when we were saying phase plant (while awesome) lacks modifiers... Boom, done.
Instant buy for me.
Shaper table.... So fun....
And because it is phase plant it can be poly OR monophonic, it matters a lot for a distortion type!

This and the new Osmose MPE pre-sets has PP back as my most used VST...good job KH.

Interesting, nice price. I'd need to grab shaperbox/multipass more often though if i add stuff..

Bought. Messed with it a bit tonight.

I love it. IMO it's something that was always missing in PP. Really nice way to add some creative dirt to a patch. Kiloharts demo vids show it being used through multipass for bass sounds, and that actually makes a lot of sense. Great to hook up to LFOs for some dirty motion.

Well worth the $20. I also could see using it as a standalone plugin and modulating it with an LFO or MSEG.

Yeah. When I found all the wavetable functionality, I was sold. Quite a deep distortion.

He shows incredibly cool features. However:
Is polyphonic distortion possible in his method? In my opinion no.

The Grid is multi-voice/polyphonic. You can have one voice have an LFO tweaking the drive level wobbly like crazy, then leave the other voice alone, then even pan them. So yes, you can have polyphonic distortion, among other things.
