Yes, but komplete start is free, no? It’s komplete Now or whatever that’s got subscriptionosiris wrote: Fri Mar 22, 2024 1:32 pm I thought I was one of those but it was in my Access updates. Bugged though because I was wanting the free standalone versions of Super 8 and one other but they were not. I think they are only for Komplete Start or whatever they're calling their temptation bundle.
Which is your favourite reverb in 2024?

I haven't heard mercury X, but not sure that the 224 is really a bigger sound type reverb.vitocorleone123 wrote: Mon Feb 26, 2024 3:43 am Currently getting to know my Mercury X. It’s “bigger” sounding than the UAD 224. Could very well tie with CRP.
224 can work really well on vocals or leads, but to me it doesn't always sound great on its own, but sounds great in the mix.
If you want a 'big' reverb I think you need space, and to have the reverb on a send and slam it to let you bring the perceived up.

"Space algo"? You rather mean the added "Space" parameter, I assume? Or do you mean the "Dark Space" algo that has been there for years?Ploki wrote: Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:53 pm Pro-R2, Valhalla Room 2.0 (space algo), Plate and TaiChi Lite get the most use.
VVV took a backseat to Room Space algo. It's just so damn nice.

Cinematic Rooms and Tai Chi are the top 2 for me. Both are expectionally clean. Cinematic Rooms creates realistic environments while Tai Chi creates fantasy realms. They sometimes play together well for a thicker sound. My 3rd fave is Seventh Heaven. LiquidSonics is a very reliable and high level player in the reverb space.

Didn't see anything mentioned about this one, although it was just released recently.
It's a really nice one. Not only as a reverb per se, but also to add some nice coloration to actually anything.
