Im looking fore a cheap as chips volume pedal for guitar, could anyone recommend something? I rarely use vol pedals but Iv been experimenting with some of that Frippy looping business and think I need one!

I did have a Morley at one point, but it went up in smoke a while back. Anything out there going for decent cash these days? Im considering 50 quid the top limit.

For 50 quid, get a combination wah/volume pedal. I know Morley and Ernie Ball make them, and I'm sure other manufacturers do, too.

If you want brand-new and high quality, you might have to go up to 60 or 70 quid, but you'll be getting the wah at the same time, which I'd seriously consider.

I like a volume pedal to have some physical resistance, while a wah needs to be flexible. Just my taste...

Behringer has a stereo foot controller / volume pedal, search the hardware for EV-5 and you'll find it.

I don't like my volume pedals to have much resistance. ;) I don't put them into fixed positions, using my guitar's volume knob for that task. I only use volume pedals for special effects, so I like them to feel the same as a wah.

Depending on how serious you are about your tone,, i would say get the best you can,, Morley,, Ernie Ball,, or Roland,, don't get a cheap one as it will color your sound and the tracking will be for shit,, the pot will crap out and you'll end up paying the money to get it repaired or replaced any way,,
I don't know to much about the other pedals as i have always used an Ernie Ball,, it has no color of it's own and neither boosts or cuts the out put of my guitar in it's neutral position,, i believe the Morley has a by pass switch which is a good idea,,
