I buy plugins based on what features they have at the time of release, not on some hypothetical feature that might get added in the future.

The developer is selling me a product, he isn't volunteering his time as my personal contractor to develop plugins catering specifically to my personal needs and desires.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

I would be interested for you to point out a developer that has so many plugins in their range across all main platforms, and updates as regular or more regular?

Your post is disingenuous at best, and meant to hurt the developer at worst, that is why you are being treated like a spoilt brat, nothing to do with free speech or people being overly sensitive.
There is a simple fix for all of this, leave the thread and buy from other developers.
Examples: Melda Production, ValhallaDSP.

I won't reply to your other hostile sentences, it's obvious we have different opinions and I'm bad at explaining my reasonings.
I thought this was an informative thread, not a praise only one.
As you said I can fix it. Will shut now.

No auto tune...

The one plugin I do feel needs improvement is Flowtones. It sounds good but the UX is not great, IMO. At the largest size I can fit on my screen the fonts are unreadably tiny, plus the synth overall has way too much tabbing. His UI aesthetic works well for his effects but not so much for a synth.

ValhallaDSP does not have a similar range of plugins across platforms, not even close, and even if we include Melda, they are funded by a 3rd party, so full time, do not support iOS, and their last updates were 3 months apart, which is probably about the same or bigger time frame as TB when you include iOS.
Again you are being disingenuous at best and now that it has been called on you, you are spitting your dummy out of the pram, grow up.
Nobody is saying positivity only, there are plenty of bad stuff I could say about TB plugin designs, there is a big difference between critique and talking complete rubbish.
Duh

Out of ToneBoosters context (I told I'd shut on it and I will) the rest is completely inappropriate from you IMHO.
Please stop. Not needed and not useful at all. I am not trolling, I was honest, and I truly thought I was being polite. I don't think you are. Let's both leave it now, please, returning to the main topic of this thread. I am sorry if anybody thinks I was harsh. This was not intentional at all. I'm not sure I can tell the same of others that (over?)reacted, with a tone I didn't start for sure.

Thanks.

Agree with this. Its really hard to read things and keep track of everything. There is no denying though that Flowtones doesn't sound great. The other one for me is Dual VCF. I much prefer how the GUI was originally on that.

On the flip side, its hard to find another EQ that is as smooth to work with and look at as EQ4.

Valhalla doesn't come close. As much as i like Sean's stuff, they don't update as often as TB, and also have less plugins (TB has almost double the amount). Jeroen has implemented multiple of my requests over the years into his plugins. In my experience, Kiive is the only other company i have dealt with that is so responsive.

Maybe you are just asking for the wrong things ;).

Im just playing though, you are entitled to your opinions!

Good to see new TB plugins. I prefer the old guis tho.
