After all this time, I'm still not clear on all of the "Cease development" I'm in business but I'm not in business stuff. It appears to me that Tone2 will remain in business, but does not seek to expand beyond the existing portfolio of apps. Development will continue to maintain and keep these apps working for future OS changes, but no further new features will be added. Am I reading all of this right?

In other words, we are not purchasing a dead, no longer supported plugin, but we need to be aware of the expectations of the company moving forward. Correct?

Personally I see a potential confusion when 'no new products' seems to include 'no new major version upgrades of existing products' something which could also be implied as being included in 'updates and enhancements'. That ambiguity would be helped by a more explicit statement, IMO.

There will be also no new Tone2 products.

- All licenses will stay valid. We do not use a subscription system. Our licenses are not time-limited
- We can guarantee that all products will continue to work also in the future
- There will be no no risk of data loss. If you should loose your backups or loose your links we will take care of you and redeliver the products for free
- The website will stay online
- Support will continue
- There will still be new soundsets
- There will still be free minor updates
