At this point, I would like to say something on topic - but I'm not in the mental place I need to be to make music.

So instead I'll ask, how are people liking this new effect? I've been wondering about that.

At first glance I wasn't jazzed. But I decided to demo it. Always demo if in doubt. It sold me. Love the sound of the stepped automated sweeps! lots of nice audio features too to tweek the sound. I really like the GUI controls, brightness and contrast as well! Very unique and useful to tune the visual with my monitor for optimal experience. I got a customer loyalty offer which made it very easy to rationalize buying it.
