The main thing I think I'll miss on this vs the competition is mid/side.

Post

Mid/Side would indeed be very useful.. but you can use something like Voxengo MSED to force the processing to either mid or side.

Us logic users are blessed that we can run any plugin in mid-side mode.

Why they didn't implement this with their smartEQ? I see the pattern. For every little feature - a new plugin.

isn't that what the hierarchy does? I was assuming that and haven't tested Unmask

How does Unmask differ from FAST Reveal?

The two are pretty close. Besides them I also tried MSpectralDynamics and none of them are zero latency like Trackspacer is, which sounds tighter in the low freqs.

I've been demo-ing unmask and it works really well and is super light on the CPU. And at half the price of Trackspacer. Wavesfactory has serious competition now.

How it is different from BabyAudio SmoothOperator? Which does the same thing when sidechained.

Thanks. I’m curious what Trackspacer does differently in the lower frequencies. Will need to demo it.

I believe it's minimum phase, while the others are linear phase. I should check that, though. I know that the Melda one is LP.

And we also have -FUSER- from Mastering the mix.

Which also helps with phase alignment and level balancing ,
something the other don't do.

Anyone tried that one ?

Unmask feature.
The Pure series are literally simplified versions of specific functionality in the Smart series. You can do this in EQ4, but with a lot more control, and with a lot more tracks. It's one of EQ 4's main features. It's why I pass on the Pure series. I have the Smart bundle.
