1.) It comes with presets, not hundrets, but a few very good ones.
2.) Among them good snares and hihats, check folder "drums" in the preset browser.

There's a growing bank. Also, 2 other banks were uploaded to the development thread.
So then correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that for 19 EDO you'd use -17.9 coarse and 15 or so fine. 19 EDO is a much more common microtonal than 14EDO I think?terriandralph wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 1:23 pm Not sure anyone wants to use this feature, but just in case...
After reading that Charlatan 3 has undergone a major update and is being used for this One Synth Challenge, I decided to play with it for a while, and was able to find a way to microtune Charlatan 3 in equal temperaments.
You can use Xform to create a separate value scale.empphryio wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 2:13 amSo then correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that for 19 EDO you'd use -17.9 coarse and 15 or so fine. 19 EDO is a much more common microtonal than 14EDO I think?terriandralph wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 1:23 pm Not sure anyone wants to use this feature, but just in case...

But I guess this only applies if the ratios are whole numbers. If you use the Majestic Horns preset where there is 0.99 and 1.99 ratios, if you isolate the ratio which is 0.99, the coarse needs to be about -17.5 (for 19EDO). But for that preset you're supposed to use both 1.00 and 0.99 ratios for the one oscillator. And there's no way to make the one -17.9 and the other -17.5 (I think?) except making a separate instance.
And this all just applies for mix.
After playing around with this for a bit, i have some recommendations:terriandralph wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 1:23 pm Not sure anyone wants to use this feature, but just in case...
