Your GUI obviously copies vintage synth designs, Behringer uses wood grain but mainly has a large window that displays information your plugin doesn't

Both GUIs has different controls

I have your plugin, I also downloaded Behringer's their GUI is far superior as it's focused more in displaying helpful information rather than fake wood grain and fake knobs

Mate, what’s this jibber-jabber. It’s clear the plugin on the bottom was inspired by the plugin on the top. Only the one on the bottom looks more made in China. Why am I seeing the back of a synth on a plugin? What purpose does this serve? What’s that with the brandname upside down and those hair trimmer attachment heads. None of my synth have hair trimmer attachment heads on the back

The Saurus UI is definitely better. All the important stuff right there in one page, with the display for other parameters. I instantly disliked having to tab around all the various elements on the page so I could adjust settings on the Behringer.

the behringer does look less cluttered.

You lot will argue about anything. All vst synths look the same - all have knobs, digits, letters, colours, sliders, displays. Some have fake wood, some don’t. Some have keys, some don’t. All the same but displayed in a different order. Who gives a flying fuk? What does it sound like? Anyone got a considered opinion?

The presets are pretty poor and their levels are all over the place. Given it's likely using a simplified AAS Ultra Analog engine, seems possible to get some decent sounds...but saving a user preset doesn't work for me on Mac.

I haven't downloaded the Behringer and really don't plan to. I think it's a good looking GUI overall, but I'm not crazy about the back panel with those plugs and heat sinks sticking out the back. Unless they serve some actual purpose (i.e., can you click on them and edit something), I'd prefer that they remove the back panel. It's pretty distracting and cheapens its look IMO.

Correct. They did not "clone" it, but it's clearly inspired by Saurus, which is a great looking synth by many people's standards. Personally, I'd take that as a compliment.
