I had a chance to demo Krotos recently, and I swear - Richard Devine must be stalking me! Everywhere I turn, there he is. I could just imagine how many people use his patches in their productions. Must be endless.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

It's £21(ish) pounds at the moment in a Humble Bundle deal, along with Simple Concept and some SFX/foley things...

And, most importantly, it's raising money for charity.

Indeed, that is ridiculously much lower than what I paid for a license for the full version of Concept.Havok wrote: Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:48 am You can get Concept 2 for only €1 at the humble bundle link above. Ridiculously low price!

Has Concept been updated at all since I last complained about lack of filter tracking? Is it semi-abandonware?

Not sure but for 79p, less than a packet of crisps, I'd say its worth a punt.

Yeah, it is a decent synth. It is too bad it hasn't had more love, really.tactile_coast wrote: Tue Apr 16, 2024 10:15 pmNot sure but for 79p, less than a packet of crisps, I'd say its worth a punt.

I just installed it about 15 mins ago and don't see a way to use filter tracking. I checked the manual also. Maybe there's a trick way to do that?Gribs wrote: Tue Apr 16, 2024 9:04 pm Has Concept been updated at all since I last complained about lack of filter tracking? Is it semi-abandonware?

Who cares if it is? I still use it, it still works, I see no problem. I've never seen much value in filter tracking, I can think of a lot more useful additions, but it's perfectly fine as is.Gribs wrote: Tue Apr 16, 2024 9:04 pmHas Concept been updated at all since I last complained about lack of filter tracking? We covered this already. I care as do many other synthesists. It is a standard feature that should be included. Honestly, it is my bad for not checking it existed beforehand. Oh well.BONES wrote: Wed Apr 17, 2024 12:07 amWho cares if it is? I still use it, it still works, I see no problem. But why? If you can use it now, what's the f**king problem? It's a sample-based instrument, it doesn't really even need a filter. Use the f**king thing for what it can do and use something else for the things it can't do. That's why we all have more than one synth plugin.
