Are you planning to ship notarized versions for Mac at some point?Laguna_999 wrote: Sun Mar 03, 2024 7:29 am Introducing Sloth: The Slew Rate Limiter for the Digital Age!

No. Honestly this notarization stuff feels like a massive extortion scheme to me. "Nice piece of software you have there. Would be a shame if people wouldn't be able to run it properly. Be so kind and pay us 99$ a year, will ya.".hey212 wrote: Sun Mar 10, 2024 9:05 pmAre you planning to ship notarized versions for Mac at some point?Laguna_999 wrote: Sun Mar 03, 2024 7:29 am Introducing Sloth: The Slew Rate Limiter for the Digital Age!
At least people can easily bypass the actual issue (the blocking software in the OS) by typing a command in the terminal.

98.99$ should be quite the discount though!Laguna_999 wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2024 5:35 amNo. Honestly this notarization stuff feels like a massive extortion scheme to me. It's awesome to see the use of asymmetric rise and fall. That will also lead to an asymmetric signal, so a DC filter is a must to keep the signal normal. The filtering possibilities are huge, but like any slew rate limiting, is dependent on the settings for the input to distort in a predictable way

Let's not get too crazy, this deal only applies in leap years on February 29th.
Exactly! That is why Sloth offers a DC filter. Please check the manual for the DC section as well as the Examples and Tricks section for some more insights on this topic.camsr wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2024 9:20 pm It's awesome to see the use of asymmetric rise and fall. Enjoying Sloth after Modo Bass to shape the bass to how I want it.
I am experiencing an issue where when I switch the oversampling, it freezes Cubase 13.

Great to hear that you enjoy the plugin. Could you let me know which version of the plugin you are using? There has been a fix for switching oversampling included in v1.0.1.WithLibertyMusic wrote: Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:57 pm I am experiencing an issue where when I switch the oversampling, it freezes Cubase 13.

Sloth Version 1.1.0 - Themes!

This release of Sloth includes a couple of bug fixes, framework updates and (in my opinion most importantly-) themes! Theming has always been possible for Sloth but there was no easy way to switch them, but now there is!
Overview
- Core: Upgraded Juce to version 8
- UI: Higher precision values for UI-element alignment
- UI/UX: Added true-peak meters with indicator lines
- UX: Introduced 'Themes' button in the menu with additional
Provided themes:
- Dark (Default)
- Light
- Cyberpunk
- DX

Hey there!
We wanted to let you know what we updated Sloth to version 1.1.2 which includes
a very big milestone for us, macOS codesigning! This means that it is no longer required
to enter a command to disable gatekeeper and that the plugin can be installed like any other
via the use of a dmg-installer!
This update also comes with a few fixes as well as the introduction of pre/post-phase mode inside
of the footer for some more sound-design capabilities. This feature was already included in
Chameleon and has since been ported over to Sloth.
The full list of changes:
- Core: Introducing pre/post mix phase options ported over from Chameleon. This might require manually
setting the phase for existing plugin instances in case they had their phase flipped previously.
- Core: macOS Codesign, meaning that we now have a dmg installer available for our plugins!
- UX: Improved plugin startup time.
- UI: Fixed an issue with incorrect colors in the footers when the plugin was bypased.
- UI: Updated themes.
If you have not updated in a while, you can see the full changelog at the end of the manual:
https://darkpalace.studio/assets/manual ... v1.1.2.pdf
Thank you for believing in us,
Darkpalace Studio.

Thank you for offering a refund now. I just bought both plugins and swiftly tested sloth in a project. I like it a lot. The GUI runs smoothly and the sound doesn't disappoint either. So far I've been using the various Airwindows slew limiters (mainly GoldenSlew) but I like the control sloth gives you over the curves, etc. and also the extra features like the delta listen.
There are two minor things that could be improved imo:
- Some way to enter a value directly with the keyboard. This is always nice for something like output gain or in this case the time constant values which are a bit hard to set precisely.
- When using the mousewheel to change values the current value is not shown so you have to change values bindly (except for slew rise/fall and mix).
