I saw them in 1981. Pinder was not there. They put on a great show. I was shrooming...
The song I remember most vividly was Legend Of A Mind. Ray Thomas' flute solo was amazing.
We were pretty far back at the Montreal Forum. A friend with whom I was working was supposed to get up early and get the tickets, but he missed the announcement as he was too busy in bed with is girlfriend. He comes in late to work: Me: "Did you get the tickets?" Him: "What tickets?" And off he went to the box office.
I saw The Kinks and Queen that same year, the Queen show was filmed, and can probably be found on YT in some form.
