I'm using a Nokia 3510i (mobile).
Is it possible to turn a miid file into a 3510i ringtone?
*.Mid -> Nokia poly ringtone. ?

... i got a nokia 7600 for chrimbo and that comes with a PC app that converts standard GM .mid to nokia phone scalable polyphony .mid ...
... i assume something similar is available for other nokia models ... checked the nokia website ???

use the 'edit sounds' part of the app to convert to scalable polyphony MIDI ...
... then just transfer that file to your phone (i have a USB data cable for that with my 7600 ... dont know how youd do it with the 3510i unless you have a similar cable ... could you email it to your phone ??? )

I don't even have a cell phone so don't ask me why I have this bookmarked but ironically I noticed it earlier. Take a look at http://www.3rdearproductions.com/software/. It does something along those lines, don't know about specific ring types.
