What got my attention was the joysticks, but then I thought about it and the only way I could think of a guitarist using this while playing would be to use you toes. You could have the joystick between your big toe and second toe to alter fuzz and tone
Guitarists, how would you use this?

A trained raccoon. This would leave the guitarist free to do guitar things. It would have to have a good sense of rhythm, which AFAIK raccoons are not noted for, but they have those opposable thumbs that should be able to wield a couple of joysticks fairly easily. And it's a good gimmick/point of difference for any band - have you seen any band with a live raccoon? My point exactly...

Post recording seems like a job for a plugin. Not being a guitarist, I assumed pedals were for live playing and I was thinking that this pedal would be better suited towards use with a synthesizer playing a midi sequence.BertKoor wrote: Thu May 02, 2024 7:17 am Topic is the Walrus Audio Janus Fuzz.

I’m not a fan of stuff like this. I used to duct tape effects onto my guitar, but that’s only useful to a point. What I do now is to use a HX Stomp and a db Instruments 4e dual Axis pedal. This gives me independent control over two vectors, which can be assigned to modulate pretty much anything. Both hands are free to sloppily play the guitar.

Yeah, that was my initial thought when I saw it. I do like the raccoon idea, though, or maybe have a friend on stage playing it like a video game while you wail away on your guitar. That could be pretty cool... or not.... yeah, probably notConstructed Identity wrote: Thu May 02, 2024 4:15 pm ...I was thinking that this pedal would be better suited towards use with a synthesizer playing a midi sequence.

Here is a better video with Steven Drozd playing with one:
It makes me want one, but not for guitar! I don't know with the Korg NTS-3 coming
