Yes, but the ALC is not a brickwall, so it retains dynamics and can exceed the Track level if you get loud, so you need to set the Track level far enough below your target that the ALC does not go over when you get loud. Play and the Record level slider moves up and down until it finds the right level of control. Try it out, you will see. It's very intuitive. Also, set up a template so you only see the GB junk that you need.
